No deviants said Yes. They're going to hell because of their sexually devious lifestyle and I want no part of them.

No deviants said No. They had a thing for me, but I had a thing for them, too, so it all worked out in the end. lol

In middle school my best friend went through the process of finding out that she way gay. Being her friend, I already knew this before she did, I just waited until she was able to say it. The surprising thing was that she had a crush on me. Unfortunately I'm straight so I couldn't return the feelings. It didn't change anything for me but I think (one of the reasons) she decided to get new friends was because I didn't feel the same way about her. I was very nonchalant so none of this bothered me lol

I don't befriend or be rid of a person because of their sexual orientation. Not my place to judge.
I base my friendships off of similar interests. If I end up getting along with someone, than okay. :U
If they change orientation during our friendship then that shouldn't change everything felt before.

I COULD GO ON ABOUT MANY THINGS ON THIS SUBJECT. But I won't. :>

Back when I was young, I had been trained to think that being gay was wrong. But I couldn't understand why it was so awful when I saw my friends so happy together, so I made my own decision of what was right to me. I never deserted a friend over their sexual orientation.

I don't really know what my sexuality is, but my gender identity has lost me some bros. It's tough, but you find out who your real friends are!

Thanks! Always good when people use their own brains instead of blindly following!

And your polls are always interesting, great ideas for creating thoughtful conversation :D

It actually made our relationship stronger because they trusted me with that information.

I lost one friend. But then, he was probably madly in love with me and now nearly half a year later he 'still can't forgive me'. Poor guy.

That's rough. But if he really does 'love' you, he'll understand your sexuality and get over it because it's not like it's your fault. I hope things patch up between you guys.

I hope so too. I told him we can still be friends if he wants to and that I'll always welcome him back, but to be honest I don't really think he'll ever take me up on the offer...

It's sad how truly awful people can be. I guess you find out who your real friends are and aren't through truth.
