When I first started posting on dA, I wasn't a "good" artist. I wasn't a confident artist. I wasn't even a competent artist. I would come on here every day, look at others' galleries/favorites, and compare my work to the work of much more skilled artist. I flat out sucked. However, I knew if I put the time in, I could improve my skillset. So I set a goal. The goal was to become a better artist. Not the best artist, just a better one. In order to reach that goal, I put the time in. I'm not that talented. I just draw a lot. I watch a lot of videos. I read(well, look at the pictures) a lot of art books. I study the work of the artist who inspire me. That's it. Am I a "good" artist now? I don't know but I do know that I'm better than I used to be. I say all of that to say this: Using AI prompts to "create" art is not just stealing from other artist, but its stealing from yourself. If you want to make art, put the time in.
