Purochan - burning to death
Purochan was one of the well-known architect and was employed in service of Duryodhan, prince of Hastinapur. He, on the command of Duryodhan, constructed a house made of wax where Duryodhan's cousins, the pandavas, were about to stay during their trip to Varnavrat city. The plan was to kill all of them by burning down the entire house. It was made of wax and only one spark was enough to bring it down. However, the pandavas came to know of the plan and built a tunnel within the house through which they escaped and set the house ablaze before Purochan's actual planned date. The unplanned burning of the house of wax also took Purochan's life. Purochan was burned to death. Purochan is believed to be born as Prahasta in previous birth, the commander of Ravana's army in Ramayana.
