Seven Weeks to Coruna is a top-secret military simulation conceived in 5512 AKC by the general staff of the SIAF. Set in a hypothetical Fourth Galactic War, the premise depicts the Stahlvelkan Empire’s proposed vision of a military blitz straight towards the URA capital world of Coruna, and to capture it, whilst being achieved in under seven weeks. By capturing Coruna, the Empire planned to hold the URA government hostage and to destroy the Republic’s Overmind. The plan involved the use of overwhelming force, both conventional as well as the liberal use of Surne weaponry at the tactical level, to punch a hole through a string of weaker URA client states along the way.
The simulation posits the URA starting the war, opening with a tactical first strike of Surne Cannons and other relativistic weaponry at major Imperial trade hubs, shipyards, and most importantly Hypergate networks situated in Imperial allies and vassals close to the Demilitarized Zone.
