Description

The sky offset the ice and the snow really nicely, and the spindly tree adds a useful distraction in the expanse of white. There's even detailed snow patterns around the base of the tree, caused by wind I assume. I'm going skiing at the end of August, and this photo is making me look forward to it!!

The sky in this is amazing, the colors shift so perfectly and as you say are awesome against the white. I really want to pop my head over the hill and see what's on the other side. Great shot.
