wow!
You've caught it well - the use of other materials also make a slight difference in impression, it's softer.
Only thing I think that would make it better would be adding clavi (a purple-red stripe at the edge of the toga that designates the wearer as senator), even if it isn't in the original.

Awesome reproduction. You can almost feel a dark aura around Catiline

i'm translating this as we speak for my latin course lol, in catilinam (the first speech)

Lovely piece!

It's such a great scene (even if it does remind me of an awful Latin class where we had to translate one of the In Catilinam speeches) and you've done a wonderful job, especially with the lighting/shading and capturing the atmosphere of the original.
