We now return to "Sally Are You Okay?" on ABC, in the 80's-90's. So, awhile back I drew this: Sally from some of my favorite episodes. Drawing up Sally in some of my favorite Sally costumes. Lately however, I've felt that I've kind of... stagnated in my artistic abilities. So, this time around I've challenged myself to take a lot of extra focus and draw at least one drawing a well as I possibly could. The question is... what would the drawing be? Well, the obvious solution would be something that I really wanted to get a good vivid picture of. The outfit is a little bit different than I originally drew it, but I think that I like this one a little bit more. The "limp shoulder" sweater with a t-shirt underneath is by far a more 80's-90's look. The old sweater could be more... 50's, I think. This is more distinctive of the era. I could have done a little bit better on Sally's left hand, and you know... drew fingers, but other than that, I think that I've got this one down pat. I think that the only other way to bring this to the "next level" as it were is with shading, which is something that I usually don't do. It's largely unnecessary for these kind of drawings.
And yeah, Sally's hair may be a bit too messy in this one. I just thought that it was really fitting for the "rough and tumble" kind of character Sally would be in a 80's-90's sitcom. Also, cue the BoJack Horseman theme.
