The Amazing Spider-Man - Kingpin

I always had this idea of "What If... There was a Spider-Man series in the Early '00?", and I cast the project. This is just the first season of the show.

The main antagonist for the first four seasons of The Amazing Spider-Man would be Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin. He would serve as the man running all of crime from behind-the-scenes, whilst also serving as a major business face for all of New York City. The best way I can describe him is SMTAS's Kingpin meets Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin. He serves as Spider-Man's greatest test during his high school years.

His storyline would involve him controlling crime and finding ways to avoid getting arrested. Spider-Man would take down certain criminal goings on, but Fisk would find a way to keep his composure. The finale would see Spider-Man and Kingpin meet for the first time, and Peter would discover that Fisk is Kingpin; however, Peter would lose this battle with Fisk proving to be more powerful than he would appear.

I always liked the idea of Fisk being Peter's first big bad, particularly when it was portrayed that way in the Insomniac Spider-Man games. Kingpin is a perfect early foil. I also think John Goodman would be amazing for the role. Whilst, at the time, he'd have only played comedic roles, and his one villainous role was in "O Brother Where Art Thou?", I think he'd be great for Kingpin. Also, at 49, I think he'd be spry enough to have fun in the role.

Now, he's the last of the "opening title" cast for season one. The next few people you'll see are the major recurring characters. Like people who'd appear in more than 15 episodes.
