The Amazing Spider-Man - George Stacy

I always had this idea of "What If... There was a Spider-Man series in the Early '00?", and I cast the project. This is just the first season of the show.

In season one, we would see Captain George Stacy being responsible trying to find the killer of Ben Parker. He's also the head of the division trying to take down the Kingpin of Crime. He approves of Peter as Gwen's friend, but nothing more. He's also not a fan of Harry.

His storyline deals with being Spider-Man's early opposer, but as the season progresses, he turns into Spider-Man's main supporter. He assists Spidey in a lot of his cases.

I have always loved John Wesley Shipp, and I think he'd be perfect for this role. He was 46 in 2001, which I believe is a believable age for Gwen's father.
