This started out as a doodle but then I got carried away.
On the left is June Iparis, the 15-year old superintelligent prodigy in Legend. On the right (of course 
) is Day, the 15-year old boy who is the Republic of America's most wanted criminal. June is hired to hunt Day down.
Anyway, I think they both might have turned out looking a little bit older than they're supposed to, but.....oh well. I had fun drawing their hair. Mwaha.

Legend (book 1 of a trilogy being published by Penguin) takes place in a dark future, when the United States has split into two warring countries: the western Republic, and the eastern Colonies. It tells the story of a famous teen criminal vs. a 15-yr old girl detective prodigy, and is coming out on Nov. 29 of this year. You'll be able to find it in all bookstores as well as on Amazon, etc. Legend has also been optioned for film by CBS Films and Twilight's production company Temple Hill!
