A who's-who of mad-scientists & evil-geniuses throughout fiction all gathered together for a poker-party. This was an idea for a picture I've been toying with for a while now so I thought I'd give it a go. Took a few months to complete, but really therapeutic and fun to do.
If there's anyone here that people don't recognize in this picture, the contestants are as follows:
Doctor Nefarious, mad-scientist and evil genius that was previously an organic lifeform that was mutated into a powerful, robotic threat to the universe. Arch-nemesis in the Ratchet & Clank games.
Doctor Robotnik, arch-nemesis of Sonic the Hedgehog in the SEGA games. Creator of an empire of Badniks and the Death Egg, and has successfully conquered Planet Mobius. This particular rendition was made popular in The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog cartoon and the UK-based Sonic The Comic.
Doctor Octopus, one of Spider-Man's greatest villains. Otto Octavious permanently bonded with the metal-harness he created to handle radiation. This particular rendition was inspired by Alfred Molina's performance in the movie Spider-Man 2.
Davros, creator of the Daleks in Doctor Who. An evil genius; crippled, yet kept alive by his wheelchair that resembles the lower-half of a Dalek. This particular rendition was inspired by Julian Bleach's performance in Series 4 & 9 of the 21st Century series of Doctor Who.
Lex Luthor, evil-scientific genius, corrupt businessman, criminal mastermind and arch-nemesis of Superman. Truly one of DC Comics' greatest villains.
Doctor Doom, evil-scientific genius, ruler & monarch of Latveria, all-round tyrant & powerful threat, thanks to the armour he wears and his mastery of sorcery. Arch-nemesis of the Fantastic Four and truly one of Marvel Comics' greatest villains.
Shockwave, an Evil Decepticon and powerful Transformer whose might is second only to Megatron. A cold, emotionless genius who holds logic above all else. In most Transformers media, he has been established as an expert in Transformer-science, creating whole new Transformers and expanding the Decepticon Empire. This incarnation is from Generation 1.
Doctor Harold Arcacon, the main-antagonist from my novel. The Saviour. Rejected by the government for his plans to immortalize humanity and the Earth itself with cyborg-technology...driven all the more insane by his wife's death and loss of his home...Arcacon willingly turned himself into his cyborg and has retreated underground with plans to overthrow the government...and save humanity HIS way.
Why not take 5 from their plans for conquest and just have a poker party?
