The Animated Series will look great without Tom and Jerry.
somewhere in heaven, Roald Dahl, Gene Wilder, and basically anyone associated with the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and also William Hanna and Joseph Barbera are screaming in terror for this film's existence
And not to mention: David Kelly (Grandpa Joe), Geoffrey Holder (The Narrator), and Christopher Lee (Dr. Wilbur Wonka) are also screaming in terror for this film's existence. (If you don't know who I am talking about, I am referring to the deceased cast of the Tim Burton / Johnny Depp version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory back in 2005). And I bet James Baskett would be angry if they did Tom and Jerry: Song of the South. Or Dick Van Dyke and Julie Andrews would be angry if they did Tom and Jerry meets Mary Poppins.
The movies is not only pointless, but its pure fan fiction. Kind of like those horrible Poohs Adventures With___________ videos.
