NYC duplexes by mrbill6ishere NYC duplexes by mrbill6ishere
These are two variations of the NYC C-1  duplexes built by ALCO in 1940s. These are the two types.

1. C-1a
These engine were built to serve as a NYC cunterpart to the PRR T1s. They mainly served on the Wolverine's line from Chicago to Detroit via Kalamazoo. Or on mail trains between Chicago and Cleveland. They mainly Were used in the Midwest due to their problems with grades. Which their PRR counterparts sometimes suffered.

2. C-1b
These were made to serve as freight engine on the Water Level Route from Cleveland to Chicago. As the railroad's Cuyahoga 4-6-6-4s were too long to work around that line. They performed well, easily outperforming other feight engines, even going as far east as Buffalo.

Can you do these in a larger size? These are too small to really make out much detail.

Afraid not, I use pre-existing sprites. It would be all pixelated if I tried to make the bigger. But you can save them and zoom in on them from there.
