My alternate history has the GTW as in the SOU region. Here, it was remade after purchase from CN into a Chicago to Michigan raceway to compete with the Pere Marquette and Ann Arbor through Michigan.
Blue- Crack train stops
Orange- Generic station stops
Purple- Suburban stops
These trains are actually several different trains operating to the same destinations as the name trains of that line. Usually, an EMD F7 units pulls these fleets of trains. It usually depends on which type of the three engines is available at the time the trains are prepared to leave.
The trains consist of four coaches, a sleeper and a dining car.
The Maple Leaf
Chicago Dearborn Street – Detroit- Toronto
These trains are hauled by 4-8-4s, an consist of three coaches, a sleeper, and a dining car.
The International Limited
Chicago Dearborn Street – South Bend- Port Huron- Toronto
These trains consist of coaches based on the coaches used on 1940s Pullmans that are powered by 4-6-2s. They stop at all the generic stations along their route.
