1962 Ford Thunderbird
A 1/43rd scale diecast model from The Franklin Mint...Part of a series called "The Classic Cars Of The 60s" (See No going backward! by Mr-Pink-Rose for further description of that series.)
The Tonneau cover over the rear seat was optional for the 4-seater T-Birds.  I don't know whether it was factory- or dealer-installed, but someone at Ford figured everyone missed the 2-seater T-Birds.

TO --COMPLETE YOUR COMMENTS Mr. ROSE;

THE ABOVE CAR WAS SEPERATE FACTORY MODEL CALLED THE "THUNDERBIRD-ROADSTER";-----

--(basely a PACKAGE) --BUT IT WAS THE ONLY T -BIRD THAT CAME WITH THOSE SPINNER HUBCAPS;

& FOR A --VERRY GOOD REASON!!!---FOR ALL OTHER T-BIRDS CAME WITH FENDER-SKIRTS!!!!!!!!-----------(which the REAR spinners would NEVER clear!!)

& YES,--FOR LESS MONEY YOU COULD GET A CONVENATIONAL CONVERTABLE!!

--AND LASTLY;-----IT WAS AVALABLE AT LEAST 1 YEAR INTO

THE 1964-66 GENERATION!
