The initial inspiration for this was the retro scifi vehicle style of GTA2, from there it evolved from fan art to more of an original scifi piece.

I'm not sure if you are aware but most of the text I see are Korean characters. Great work nonetheless!

Good to know. I honestly had no clue, I cut it all out of a couple storefront photos from cgtextures.com and didn't think much of it.

and thanks :)

Very good job.
This looks like something that could be in the lower cities of Coruscant.

Perhaps, maybe a bit low tech in comparison.

For some odd reason I've always found this kind of bustle to be comfortable and oddly appealing. Nice work!

I think at least for this particular picture, the warm central colors make it kind of comfy and welcoming.

Perhaps you're right, though for me it's mostly the crush of housings, overstuffed yet welcoming. In our world cities are insanely populated yet still vast solitudes. What you've painted doesn't look like a place where you could live door-to-door with someone for 20 years without knowing them.
I'm babbling, aren't I.

Again, nice work. ;)

True.
The newer Total Recall has somewhat similar looks, too.

Looks like it could be concept art for a new Blade Runner movie. Good job.
