Hi Mpz.

2nd. Thanks for saving my "Two Birch Trees" painting. Initially it was painted for my sister after she lost a son by gun shot. It was a place that she liked to go and sit after the tragedy. She took a photo of the place and I converted it into a painting which hangs on her wall. Time has passed and her life is going well for her now, however I'm not sure that anyone really gets over that kind of loss. I'm lucky that my four children have done well and have their own children now. Ciao. 😊 Sheridan

Good to see you out here at the horse coral with "The Girl and Her Horse". I liked this painting and I felt that it was good for what it is as a piece of artwork, but I also feel that it is too smooth and to perfect, and at the same time abstract, and unnatural. I understand that it is a striking image and for that reason I submitted it.

In artwork producing images that are attractive, interesting, evoke emotions is the primary way to be successful. I like to address social issues where it's possible as well. She appears to be a young girl with a wealthy background (who can afford to maintain a blue horse for years) and so, many people may not be very sympathetic with her position.
