Well, it's been a number of months and I've been busy with school. It was weird being back again, and with most of the students being younger than me, I feel sometimes a little out of place. I don't seem to get some of the lingo or the jokes anymore. Or maybe I've just been living under a rock. I used to pride myself in getting along well with younger people. Ah well.
I had a few scrapes in school, but I was able to work most of them out. Funny thing is, though, all my marks are usually A or A+, then each class will have one thing where I got an F in it. Hahaha
I was a little worried about school, because OSAP didn't give me enough to cover
So I spent about two weeks helping out on a large-scale mural with William Lazos (www.williamlazos.com) at a school in Rexdale. It was three large parts, one of which he did himself (this kickass portrait), but I got to do a lot of the other two; a large school crest and the school mascot, a Crusader. No, there weren't any dead Muslims in the image. I think it wouldn't be a good thing to show at a school. I asked if they taught about the Crusaders in religion or history class. They said they didn't.
Anyways, 12 hour shifts each day and we got the thing done super fast! Check out the (low quality) photos. Sorry, I didn't have a proper camera
