Bad News:As mentioned in my previous journal entry, my Windows 7 went into a system repair loop after what was supposed to be a routine system restore. I've had my laptop looked at, and the guys at the service center could do nothing except reinstall the OS. This, of course, means that I'm going to have to reinstall several programs and drivers, which is going to take a while.Good News:It turns out that I had the foresight to save most of my files in the partitioned drive D instead of drive C, meaning that I only really lost a few files I could afford to lose. As I mentioned in the previous journal, I went on a trip to the Philippine city of Manila from my home town of Cebu on May 9. The trip lasted up until May 15. The trip was supposed to be for some family thing held on the tenth, but I think it was just my Aunt's excuse to have me, my little bro, and some of my mother's side cousins there so she could take us around some of the tourist spots in the Northern Philippine island of Luzon.
