I managed to take this photo shortly after he woke up (having been woken up by his ever-moving daughter...) and started to unfurl.

You can really see how massive and huge he is in this shot.

Species: Asiatic Reticulated Python (Netpython)

Latin name: Python Reticulatus

Originates from Southeast Asia.

Current status: Not Evaluated.

…It’s Latin name actually means net-like, hence reticulated, referring to its complex color pattern.
