Rollers are such beautiful, colorful birds - this Blue-Bellied one might not be the most colorful of it's kind, but it is stunning in his own way.

We didn't see them at first - you know, that moment when you're looking for something and it's right in front of you but you miss it still? Yes, that.

This one was stretching a bit before flying to a different perch. He seemed a bit shy in front of the camera

Species: Blue-Bellied Roller (Blauwbuikscharrelaar)

Latin name: Coracias Cyanogaster

Originates from Africa.

Current status: Least Concern
