Get Blow Away

I know it's not the best photo, but it's not the easiest enclosure and with this being a moment taking mere seconds, you have to make do - and it's to amazing not to share.
This tiny, tiny pup is one of Porky's siblings. The parents (unlike Porky) don't like their pups to be outside. As soon as they find out, they're herded or carried back in. The pup had gotten quite far in a bout of confidence and curiosity, so there was a bit of scurrying involved getting the baby back inside the den (with the 5 others!).

Species: Common Dwarf Mongoose (Dwergmangoeste)

Latin name: Helogale Parvula

Originates from Southern Africa.

Current status: Least Concern
