There are 4 kits in the picture, and I keep forgetting how many there were... Something tells me we're missing 1 still. But this is a lot already, and so rare to have them all in one (albeit not great) picture.

Species: Bat-Eared Fox (Grootoorvos of Lepelhond)

Latin name: Otocyon Megalotis

Originates from South Africa.

Current status: Least Concern

…In contrast to other Canids, they have a reversal in parental roles, the males taking on the majority of parental care behavior.

…Some view Bat-Eared Foxes as an entirely different sort of species – the Otocyon – while others say it is in fact closely related to the true Foxes, of the genus Vulpes, and another group divides them into an outgroup which is not closely related to true Foxes at all.
