In sociology and biology, infanticide is the practice of intentionally causing the death of an infant of a given species, by members of the same species - often by the mother. More recently in criminology, it includes various forms of non-maternal child murder. In many past societies, certain forms of infanticide were considered permissible, whereas in most modern societies the practice is considered immoral and criminal. Nonetheless, it still takes place — in the Western world usually because of the parent's mental illness or violent behavior, and in some poor countries because of tacit societal acceptance.
I am feeling kinda depressed since school started, and in ethics class we were talking about this subject, so now I'm double depressed...

pitanje koje si obradio ovde je zaista malo... kontraverzno, medjutim... postoji i razlog za to... i ti si ga naveo... jedan deo ove price moze se povezati sa eugenikom... naravno, u svakoj prici postoje zlikovci i postoje dobri ljudi koji znaju sta i zasto rade... tesko je povuci liniju moralnosti kada je medicina u pitanju... jer, ima svojih dobrih strana koje se kose sa nasom moralnom svescu i savescu i smislom za ispravno i pravedno... ali postoje stvari koje jednostavno moraju biti uradjene...
