Okami

I asked people what game art they wanted to see on my facebook page, and someone said Okami. I was really interested in drawing a wolf again, because I'm not very good at drawing animals yet. It was really cool to see the japanese art style of Okami mixed with my rough brush style. I had so much fun drawing this, and I wish I had done it sooner!

I also kept in mind what I learned in art history class about japanese wood print; Dramatic crop, lifted horizon lines, heavy outlines, and flat colors. It was like merging what I've learned in class and put it into work. It was so much fun!
