nice frame mate, i will say this watch the overlaping of the background and foreground. did you try taking it from a different angle.
Morgoth883 Featured By Owner Aug 3, 2009
Aye, this one was a bit rushed with the colouring; I never noticed that colour overlap at the time though; i should watch out or that mroe in future.
as for perspective, though, I really wanted to get a long shot of the house and garden and I thought this would be the best perspective for it.

ah right,i get were your coming from its just that using that kind of shoot can sometimes makes the image lack depth.

Can't say I agree with your definition of "action" =P but cliffhangers are good.

Another great page...

I like that you've managed to keep them talking and interacting without it starting to become stale... Sometimes in webcomics you find characters talking amongst each other just because they have to be doing something to fill the space, but this is very well integrated and feels very natural. I'm actually quite interested to see what Alex's sister actually looks like, and if that hair is genetic... hahaha.
Morgoth883 Featured By Owner Aug 3, 2009
Heh, I shant give anything away about her sister just yet~
And I'm glad the conversation isn't stale XD The dialogue for darastrix gives me an awful lot of bother since it doesn't really come naturaly to me. I often spent a very long time typing and retyping the speech bubbles until I get get something I feel is right.

Thats good. You shouldn't just settle for anything you write down. Reading it over and over again lets you get a feel for it, makes it seems more natural. (as if you're thinking it over before you say it) thats a good approach.

Excellent work, again, Morgoth!

Oh no! What is happening in Alex's home? She's too
nice a character for something awful to befall her!

Can't wait to see the next part...!

There! You have got me hooked! Surely that is
the best testament to the quality of this comic? :)
