Colour comparison by Morgoth883 Colour comparison by Morgoth883
I was trying out that lining style again today, and ive been having trouble colouring it. I think they way that im colouring it right now takes something away fro the drawing. It looses that glow.
if anyone could give any advice, I would apriciate it :)

ah I can see how you did that :3 it's quite a nice affect, add something to your style.
I don't really know how to give advice... except that it might be a little -too- loose for your overall style. maybe a few sharp lines may help.

very muted tones, pastels, or greyscale. The style doesn't reward bold colours, it's far more subtle than that. Try it :)

I can give Critique. It depends on how you want it to be though. The black one has that unfinished and angsty feel. The colored one has a color style that states that it's finished and it states that it's really, your new style, rather then it's just a sketch I did.

Does the colourless one seem angsty to you?
Well, I shall be trying some mroe experiments like this, and we'll see how they go :)
