Granthor the Mighty, Vanquisher of Porcelain by MorganRLewis Granthor the Mighty, Vanquisher of Porcelain by MorganRLewis
Fantasy authors always write about the difficulties of a person from our modern world finding themselves stuck in a medieval or bronze-age fantasy world. Hardly anybody writes about the difficulties a person from a fantasy world would face in ours.

This is another entry for the Daz3D.com forums' monthly Random Runtime Roulette Render contest. I learned this time around that it's OK to share the pictures elsewhere while the contest is running, so I'm doing so.  This month, the contest has a theme: Freak Accidents. My four pulls were Freak Accessories, 100 Essential M4 Expressions, Dream Home Basement Eclectic Decor, and Metal Overlay Shaders. This is what popped into my head.

Not having a vase (or similar object) that came with breakability built-in, I was obliged to create one myself in trueSpace.

Assembled and rendered in DazStudio. Postwork in Paint Shop Pro.

i have had a comic where Conan was for a short time per time-travel-magic in the 20. Century, moved from a bad magican. He whacked some gangsters and hooligans, saved a women and found a way to return. He didn't learn the speach of the 20. Century, but noticed very well what the wife wanted from him ... Cars seemed him to be a bit strange, so he throw them through the air ...

Cool. Glad to hear of at least one significant use of the concept.
