Long way... 1/3 Legolas was standing at the railing of the sailor, holding the rope in his hand. He was leaving Middlearth behind. The air was clear and he was going towards the light. Feeling well he welcomed the wind and returned to the rudder. Gimli was sitting nearby on the blanket. He was old and Legolas simply didn’t want him to drive their ship. The whitehaired dwarf was sleepy, but suddenly awaken and realized that he isn’t in home in Gondor, where they spared a lot of time. “Where am I?”
“Calm down, Gimli…” Another problem was forgetting almost everything. But Legolas was always patinent with him. “We’re heading west, to the Valinor.”

But following earthquakes caused strict prohibition because the palace at the holy mountain was endangered by it. Alue decided, that more mining would be very dangerous, the roots of the mountains are damaged since the first spring of Arda. And any trying to fix that would cause problems as well as mining, especially deep underground, which would manipulate the weight of mountains. Manwe would accept need to build a new palace and at lower place, but no one knows what else can be endangered if the mining continued. So the mines were filled with rocks and sealed.
