ChildrenThe day thy're born Life begins Breast fed or bottles Cloth diapers or disposable Boys,girls Blue,pink They start to crawl Then to walk Their first steps Their first words The early years full of mischief As they learn We try to teach them right from wrong To respect things around them We give them love We correct them been they're bad We reward them For good grades & good deeds We nurture them With parts of us Our beliefs,our feelings Our knowledge As they grow We can see what they've learned But no matter How old they get Until our dying day They're our children
