The fighters have been captured and turned to statues by Malum, the lord of shadows. Malum seeks to use the fallen fighters to build an army with his power of shadow to make an army of monstrous minions to destroy the world and build it in his own image. Kirby was the only one to escape, and it's up to the brave pink hero to save his fighter friends and put a stop to Malum's schemes. DAY 12 Aurora: Hey! How about a song to crank the tues and get this joint-a-jumpin’! Dinneon's Silent Realm Linkachu arrives back in Skyloft and goes into the bazaar and up to Gaston in the Scrap Shop. Gaston: Well well, back again, I see? What is it that your little Pikachu brain has in mind? Linkachu pulls out his equipment along with the materials he’s gathered throughout his adventure. Gaston: Whoa there! You say you want me to upgrade all of those? Linkachu nods and pulls out the wallet full of rupees. Gaston: Ha ha! No one can upgrade all of these at once like Gaston! This will just take a good half hour. Sit tight and I’ll get these done. So Gaston went to work. He turned the Sacred Shield into the Goddess Shield, the Bow into the Sacred Bow, the Slingshot into the Scattershot, and last but not least, the Hook Beetle into the Tough Beetle. Gaston: Well, that puts the spring in your strength. Come again soon if you have anything else, boy. Linkachu, now stronger than ever, leaves the bazaar and takes off back to the Isle of Songs in Thunderhead.
