Mid winter. The corner is turned. I have been thinking about how the time of year affects what kind of work created. It has always been a factor for me. I work very subjectively and open myself up completely so I end up allowing lots of things to penetrate. They all help to synthesize what happens inside. The work that comes out is unknown at first. It always takes me a while to recognise it. I find it a strange and exciting process even though it has been taking place for nearly 30 years. With the turn of the year the work will change again.
