My good friend is not only a great artist, who makes wonderful plushies, but also a kind-hearted person who takes care of hedgehogs and lonely cats in her neighborhood...  She's' working hand in hand with a cat shelter and they're trying to find home for a lot of kitties... long story short, feeding cats and hedgehogs requires quite some money, so she's selling Halloween-themed adoptables… they're so cute!!! besides, her shop is full of furry, fluffy and adorable plushies... so I thought I'd share her journal and link you to her shop, so maybe you can treat yourself and help her at the same time!!!

Kitties, hedgehogs and adoptablesIt's been such a long time, since I last wrote a journal entry, but I think it's time for me to push past the last one.
For the past year and a half I've been feeding a growing group of hedgehogs and a shifting number of cats every night. Some of the cats are strays, others are just neighborhood cats stopping by occationaly for a free meal. It can be hard to tell which are strays and which are not, since virtually none of the cats are marked or fixed. Some are more obviously stray than others however, as they arrive thin and come to rely on the nightly feeding opportunity. I try to help these strays towards a better life, be it by looking for their owner, turning them in to the local cat shelter or to get them fixed and released back outside if they're feral.
