Hey Everyone!! During our vacation in May, in a museum shop (Museum of the Future, Nuremberg), I saw "eternal pencils" and it intrigued me... they said, on the carboard packaging, that you could write 20km with it before changing the tip, that you never have to sharpen it, which means that you don't need a pencil sharpener when you're on the go and it also means about 50 traditional pencils not used... The price was reasonable and, after a short internet search, I thought it would be interesting to try one, so I went back to the museum shop 2 days later and bought one, by the German brand Troika... This is how it looks next to a new standard HB pencil: [DEVIATION] Before buying it, I already knew from the reviews that it was rather pale, like a 4B or 6B traditional pencil, so I wasn't surprised [EMOTE] ... The biggest surprise was that, indeed, you truly don't sharpen it... feels a bit like magic, because it stays the same, no matter how much you use it and at which angle...

I haven't vanished!! [EMOTE] Just a quick message to let you know where I've been last week... I got some worried messages from a few of you, sorry about that ... Anyway, Hubby had to have his wisdom teeth removed (the ones on the right, this time... the ones on the left were removed about 15 years ago, when he was 29, I think), I drove him to the dentist's and back, took care of him while he was home (he took 2 days off from work, and I think it was really sensible, I mean, he was unable to speak most of the time) and spent some time playing video and board games with him to keep his mind off of the pain... and of course I had my lessons to teach and the food shopping to do... so I wasn't on DA for 2 whole days and then 2 colleagues were unable to teach their Thursday and Friday lessons, so I took them (not saying no to a little extra money atm, complicated times, nothing serious, but still, not the easiest either) and spent a lot of time teaching and doing boring admin stuff
