Commission and Custom Order Guide

Q: Where can I buy your amigurumi?
A: I only sell my amigurumi online through Etsy moonscreations.etsy.com and storenvy moonscreations.storenvy.com/ or directly via commission/custom order. Rarely will my pieces make appearance in craft fairs, conventions and art galleries. When they do, I'll make public posts in my journal.

Q: How do I commission/place a custom order with you?
A: Thank you for your interest in commissioning me for your special amigurumi. Please read all steps (1 - 6) before contacting me about a commission/custom order.

To start a commission or custom order:
1. Check if I'm open for commissions. This information is at the bottom of my most recent journal entry on DeviantArt.

2. Send me a note or email. I will not reply to comments in journal posts, on my art, or front page requesting commission or custom order information.  You must send me a note. It keeps things organized.

3. I will respond with a quote for the price and an estimate of how long it will take to complete the project. I require a 50% non-refundable deposit to begin work.

4. Reply to my note with the quoted information, confirming you'd like to proceed with the commissions. We will then handle your deposit.

5. After I receive your deposit, I'll make your commission.

6. When your commission is complete, I'll send you a note with a link to the images of the completed piece for your approval. Once you approve, your final payment is requested within 1 week of completion.

Q: How much to commission ________?
A: It's very difficult to give a vague answer to a vague question and your best bet is to contact me for a quote, however here is a small pricing tree to break down prices. Prices are in US Dollar.

Tier 1 - $7 - $13 - Basic Designs
You will find most of these items already in my shop. Unless you're looking for a custom color that I don't carry, this tier will not be of any use to you.

Tier 2 - $14 - $19
Your custom order will include one of the following: Fabric Painting, Colored Eyes, Beading, Crocheted tentacles or tail, simple felt work or facial hair.

Tier 3 - $20 - $25
Your custom order will include one of the following: Removable crocheted clothing, elaborate felt work or plain rooted yarn hair.

Tier 4 - $26 - $40
Your custom order will include one of the following: crocheted arms and/or legs, sewn clothing or hat, brushed or elaborately styled hair, fuzzy body or a quality, non-acrylic yarn.

Tier 5 - $41 - $100
Your custom order will include one of the following: a size larger than 4 inches in height.

Q: What can I commission/custom order? Can I commission/custom order something that was commissioned before?
A:You can commission/custom order anything, but I hold the right to say no. Please note that I won't recreate the designs of another amigurumi artist and would prefer not to lift designs from a licensed character. Rather than make Naruto, I'll more likely make a Moon Bun dressed as Naruto.

Most previous commissions are commissionable again. There are a few exceptions but these are only limited to character ownership or unavailable materials.

Q: What are your shipping costs?
A: Prices are for my traditional sized items ranging from 3-4 inches. Please note that products shipped outside of the US will be sent airmail and may take upwards of a month to deliver depending on your location.
For a single 3 - 4" amigurumi:
US (Price includes tracking): $3.55
Canada: $7.65
Brazil: $24.75
Everywhere else in the world: $9.45

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Paypal is preferred, however if you are in the US, I will accept money orders (Western Union, Postal, etc), and concealed cash.

Q: I can't afford a commission/custom order right now, but I'd love to see you make ____. Can you do that?
A: Of course! I love getting suggestions for designs. Just send me a note! I can't guarantee I'll get it made, but I'll try.

Q: Do you accept wholesale orders?
A: Yes, I do. Please send me a note or email for more information.
