Man, I just realized that I haven't updated my DA page since last year... and I still have comments in my inbox from about that time, too. It's slightly embarrassing to reply to messages from ten months ago! I'm trying to weed my way through the questions, at least, but feel free to send me a note if I have somehow managed to miss you.

I do appreciate all of the support and kind words that I have received, and I will do my best to check in on DA more regularly in the future. I have a few pieces of owed artwork to catch up on, and we will see where it goes from there. No promises, though, as I never know what the future will bring.

In any case, as a token of my appreciation for sticking with me through my random absences, have a picture of my wiener:

BennyHotDog by MoonsongWolf

I actually had time off from work and was able to work on art.

I'm hoping to have all of my owed art finished by the end of the year, and we'll see where things go from there. I would like to focus exclusively on personal work, including comics, but that will be heavily dependent on my work schedule and my health. Fingers crossed for a better 2018!
I am open for a limited number of character portraits similar to these:

Tiny Terror by MoonsongWolf Shatter Me by MoonsongWolf

I am only open for 6 spots or until approximately 10 pm PST on Thursday (July 29), whichever comes first. Please note: I have two pieces of owed art currently on my worklist that take priority: a commission for BecSparrow and an ACEO for Yonetee.

These portraits are:
  • Traditional media acrylic
  • 6" X 9"
  • Limited or atmospheric background
  • One character only

Price and Payment:

  • $32 for a "roulette" style. You give me a reference and/or a character description, and I do the rest. There are no sketch approvals or changes, unless I miss something on your reference or in your description.
  • $44 if you prefer to specify pose and expression. This includes a sketch approval phase where I will make changes or corrections. I limit these to two changes, unless I miss something on your reference or in your description.
  • Paypal only. I do not accept DA points.
  • Payment must be received within 24 hours of spot confirmation.
  • I am not doing holds or waiting lists on these.
Shipping:
  • Shipping is available. The price is $10 US or $14 worldwide.
  • Please be patient if you would like your painting shipped. My post office is not open on weekends, and I work overtime during the week! It may take anywhere from 1-4 months before I am able to take time off to get to the post office during normal business hours.
  • You may pay shipping in advance or wait until I am ready to ship, whichever you prefer.
  • Whether or not you would like your portrait shipped to you, I will provide you with a high resolution, printable digital file.

Note or comment if you are interested.

For those who are curious, my Patagonian cavy (Benny) is doing very well. He's a year and a half old now, and he's becoming quite the distinguished gentleman.

Patagonian Cavy Aesthetic by MoonsongWolf

I do get questions about him from time to time, since the Patagonian cavy is not a well known animal, so I thought that I would start collecting them here.

Do you have any questions about Benny, cavies as pets, or cavies in general? Ask them here, and I will either reply or add it to the FAQ!

General Patagonian Cavy Information

*What the hell is a Patagonian cavy?
Patagonian cavies (Dolichotis patagonum), also called maras, are rodents native to Argentina in South America. They are fairly large, for rodents, weighing anywhere from 15 to 35 pounds (Benny only weighs 16 pounds). They are gentle herbivores that are one of the few truly monogamous animals; males and females mate for life. Cavies are built for speed. They can run up to 30 miles per hour over long distances, and they can jump six feet. They are considered near threatened in the wild, due to habitat loss and competition with the introduced European hare. In captivity, they are calm, friendly, and breed easily.

*What sort of noises do they make?
Oh man, they make so many different noises! They weep like guinea pigs, growl like dogs, and make little "brunk" noises that run the spectrum between grunting and purring (usually when curious or content). They grind their teeth, called bruxing, when either relaxed or feeling threatened (the relaxed brux is like gentle clicking, while the aggressive brux is more like grinding). They make quiet "ooo" noises when exploring, and more punctuated "OOOO! OOOO!" sounds when nervous. They can also make a low roar/snarl; I have only heard it from Benny once, when he got his leg caught on a bookshelf. Interestingly, the growling seems to be non-aggressive. Benny does it sometimes when he plays or when he wants something (usually a treat).
Here's a video of Benny "brunking": moonsongwolf.tumblr.com/post/1…

Patagonian Cavies as Pets

*Are Patagonian cavies legal to keep as pets?
This depends on where you live! Many places treat them the same as other rodents like hamsters and gerbils. Some places that they are completely legal and do not require permits: Oregon, Alabama, Washington, Texas, and all provinces in Canada except for Alberta. Some places that they are illegal or require permits: California, Georgia, New Hampshire, Colordao, and Hawaii. Also, be aware that even if your country or state/province allows cavies, there might be municipal or county restrictions. For example, although the province of Ontario allows them to be kept as pets, they are illegal to keep without permit in the city limits of Toronto!

*Can cavies be housebroken?
Yes! Benny is trained to use a dog pee pad placed under a towel. Cavies can also be trained to use litterboxes. It is not as easy as housebreaking a cat, though. It took Benny about a month before he was reliably using the pee pads. He's 100% on using the pads for urination, but he does occasionally have poop "accidents," especially if something startles him. Luckily, cavy droppings are just big, dry, odorless pellets, so it's not a big deal to just pick them up and throw them away. Still, though, if the thought of finding a stay poop pellet on the floor disgusts you, a cavy is probably best kept in an outdoor enclosure!

*Can cavies be trained to walk on a harness?
Yes! Most cavies will wear a harness without any issues, and some cavies even keep theirs on 24-7. They won't chew their harnesses off like rabbits will.

*Can cavies be taught commands?
Yes! They are treat-motivated and can learn simple tricks. Benny knows "sit up," "come here"/"Benny", and "you know where to go." The last one is the command to go to his crate for the night. I'm working on teaching him "turn" right now, which means he'll spin in a circle. They are a bit like cats in their consistency to respond to commands. They may or may not obey, depending on whether they think you have a treat or not!

*What do cavies eat?
In the wild, cavies are grazers, like deer. As pets, guinea pig food is ideal, since it contains vitamin C (like guinea pigs and humans, Patagonian cavies can not produce their own vitamin C and must get it from their diet). They can also be fed rabbit or horse chow, as long as it is dusted with absorbic acid or something similar. They should have timothy hay available at all times. They can also be given fruits and veggies to supplement their diet. I have heard that most cavies will eat almost anything (they are rodents, after all), but Benny is very picky. He won't eat vegetables, and there are only a few fruits that he will eat. He does, however, like breakfast cereals, dried spaghetti noodles, and cotton candy. He doesn't get these very often, though, of course.

*Do cavies chew on furniture and other things around the house?
Yes and no. They do not chew nearly as much as other rodents, as long as you provide them with some pumice blocks and hemp/sisal chew toys. In general, they leave furniture alone, since they don't seem to enjoy gnawing on wood or soft materials. Benny usually leaves electrical cords alone, but he will chew on thin cords (think headphone cords, video game controller cables, things like that), so I have to be careful to keep things like that out of his reach... which can be challenging, because he is very tall when he stands up on his back legs! He will also eat anything made out of paper, so again those things have to kept out of reach. It took about a month to train him to stop chewing on the plastic bags in our garbage bins. And for a short period of time, he started chewing on the corners of the drywall in the house. This was easily remedied with an application of cayenne pepper to the corners for a few weeks. Overall, their chewing isn't too much of a problem to deal with as long as you are diligent with training, keep paper/plastic products out of reach, and provide chew toys.

About Benny

*What is his personality like?
Benny is shy around people that he doesn't know. This is mostly my fault for not socializing him well enough as a baby (husband and I had recently moved, so we didn't have many friends in the area yet to introduce him to). However, he can be quite the character around the house! He does spend a lot of time napping, like a cat, but he also likes to play. He will play tag by both chasing me and running away. He also runs, jumps, spins, and kicks. Again like a cat, he loves to be petted, but only when he wants to be petted. Sometimes he will roll onto his back for belly rubs, or just for the sheer fun of rolling around. He doesn't like being picked up, but he tolerates it. An interesting thing that he does is "guard." If my husband or I decide to lie down on the couch, Benny will hop up next to us and stand watch while we sleep. Looking for predators, I guess.
Here's a video of him play-jumping as a baby: moonsongwolf.tumblr.com/post/1…

EDIT: Thanks, guys! I picked a few people already, but feel free to continue to post your open commissions or trades. You never know who else might be looking through the comments to find someone to commission!

Just a gentle reminder that I do have commissions still available here: Commissions Open (with ACEO portrait specials)

I'm currently in the market for a portrait or icon/avatar commission or trade. If your commissions or trades are open, please feel free to comment or note me with a link to your price/trade list! I'm specifically looking for artists who are willing to draw humans. If you are looking to trade, you are certainly allowed to ask for a human/humanoid character in return; just be aware that they are not exactly my area of expertise (I'm still practicing and, frankly, a bit embarrassed at my lack of skill with them... but still willing to try).

Please don't feel offended if I don't comment back! I'm only looking for one or two of these at the moment.

Thanks in advance!
MSW
...That aren't me, because I'm a terrible person to commission. But these are awesome folks that I can vouch for; their quality is exceptional, and (maybe more importantly) they are a pleasure to work with.

I'm seriously blown away by her ability to work from a wordy description and a terrible doodle. She's fast, friendly, and exceptionally skilled. I'm convinced that she's a wizard of some sort, actually. She also has the only comic that I religiously read every time it pops up in my inbox here on DA, "Kay and P." A few samples of her work:

Hands down one of the BEST sketch artists that I know. Have an obscure animal with unique anatomy that you want drawn? Have an unusual pose or angle that you want for your art? She'll nail the anatomy and perspective every time. Sketches I have commissioned from her:

Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that I won't be online at all until next week (after January 25th). So if you're trying to get in contact with me, please don't be concerned if you haven't heard back yet. I have next week off from work, so I will be able to reply to messages and work on art again.

Also hoping to finally get back to work on Pull Down Heaven. :)
Due to a messy combination of medical issues, finals, and an increase in work hours, I haven't been online much in the last few months. Not sure how the rest of December will go, but I am hoping to get all or at least most of my owed art done in the next two weeks. When January rolls around, though, I will probably be MIA again, since I will be both working and going to school full time that month. As for February, we'll just have to play it by ear!

In the meantime, accept my apology for not uploading art or answering messages, in the form of cute Benny the cavy photos.

Hopefully I will be around DA more over the next two weeks, but if not... Benny and I wish all of you guys a safe and happy holiday season!

I apologize for being a bit out of the loop for the last two weeks. I will be catching up on messages over the next few days (except for Saturday, when I will be out of town), but please feel free to give me a quick nudge if you have something important that I haven't replied to yet!

Since I started school again this week, commissions are officially closed. If I open them again, it probably will not be until next spring.

I still have a few pieces of owed art to finish up (one commission and a couple of trades), and then I will be mainly posting personal work and comic pages for a while. Also, expect to see plenty of Patagonian cavy drawings and photos. My little Benedict is pretty much a grown gentleman now, and I've been obsessively doodling (and photographing) his goofy cowface every time I have a few free minutes.

BennySitting6 by MoonsongWolf
Guess who is going to be six months old this month? Benny the Patagonian cavy, of course! And I think when your lifespan is only 10-15 years, you are allowed to celebrate your half-birthday. Benny received his gift a little early: a pop-up castle tent, courtesy of IKEA.

BennyTentSm by MoonsongWolf

Having a quiet walk at the park (yes, he generally walks like a deer rather than hopping like a bunny):

Being a lazy, cuddly bastard:

God forbid I forget to rub the belly, too!

He's still a lot of work; I wouldn't recommend these little dudes as pets for anyone who doesn't have either a lot of time at home or a lot of outdoor space. He's very rewarding, though! He's a shy, funny, affectionate gentleman.

Happy half-birthday, Benedict!
EDIT: I decided to close my commissions for now. If we were already discussing a potential commissioned piece, I am available to work on it until September 15. I am not accepting any new commissions at this time.

Apologies for being quite scarce around here for the last two or three weeks! I just finished up with finals for my summer classes. This is my first term back in school after a (long) hiatus, so I had forgotten exactly how much time and energy can finals can sap out of you. Since fall classes don't start again until late September, though, I have a bit of a reprieve before it's back to the grind.

If you've left me a message over the last 3 weeks, please give me until the weekend to reply to you! If you haven't heard from me by then, feel free to give me a poke. It's highly possible that I missed your message somewhere.

For SilverShadowfax and LordOfRappigs, I haven't forgotten your commissions! I'll have something to show you by the end of the weekend.

For anyone else that is considering commissioning me, I will have commissions open until the middle of September. After that, I plan to close commissions until next March to allow more time for work and school. I might also have some trade openings and some character designs available for trade/sale soon, but we'll see how much time I have available once my current worklist is whittled down a little more.

In other news, guess who is becoming quite the stately gentleman?

BennySitting5 by MoonsongWolf
Good news for the people who are following me for comics: I'm finally back in a position where I can begin working on Pull Down Heaven again! :)

I have also set up a tumblr account for Pull Down Heaven here: thevesperfacility.tumblr.com/
Be aware that I'm in the process of updating it with the previous pages, so it will be a week or so before it is "caught up" to the pages posted here on DA. This tumblr page is exclusively for the comic, so if you want to follow along without being inundated with non-related art, feel free to give me a watch over there instead of here.

I do have a personal tumblr account as well: moonsongwolf.tumblr.com/ However, I will probably not be posting much artwork there. I will mostly just be reblogging art, animal, and (maybe) fandom related things, as well as posting photos of my pets or sketches from time to time. DA is still the best place to keep up with finished pieces.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer (or winter, for my buddies in the Southern Hemisphere). :)
Wow, over a month since the last cavy update? Benny has really grown and is becoming quite the distinguished gentleman!

BennyStanding3 by MoonsongWolf

He is now completely weaned and eating only solid foods. He also received a clean bill of health from his veterinarian and has been microchipped, which makes it much less worrisome to take him out to the arboretum for walks.

Admiral Benny is also the proud owner of a super-soft, super-nerdy Star Trek themed bed.

Although, truth be told, his favourite place to sleep while I am working is right underneath my computer chair. His bed is only three feet away, but apparently that is too far!

Overall, he is doing well with his training and is becoming a loved and valued member of the family. Plus, he's ridiculously adorable:

I wanted to share this beautiful song that SimplyHorse composed for 'A Way Home': soundcloud.com/sound_of_a_hors…

I've listened to it so many times. The sense of wonder and adventure never fails to make my heart race.

SimplyHorse is also available for commissioned musical work! He displays an impressive mastery of different musical styles, which you can get a feel for by visiting his Soundcloud here: soundcloud.com/sound_of_a_hors… You can contact him either through Soundcloud or here on DeviantArt for more information. :)

(And in slightly related news, Bear-hybrid and I are hoping to return to the comic in the next month or two... so stay tuned for the continued adventures of our little murine pal Janus!)

Benny is a Patagonian cavy, also called a mara. Despite his lagomorphic build, he is not related to rabbits or hares. Rather, he is a large caviomorph rodent, most closely related to the capybara and the guinea pig. He is shy, gentle, and intelligent... but also a lot of work! Keeping up with his feeding schedule and providing him with love, enrichment, and training is almost a full time job in its own right. Any time you are considering a pet - whether it be domestic or exotic - please do your research. These little guys are not for everyone! :)

BennyNares by MoonsongWolf
I thought that I would share some photos of and information about my Patagonian cavy Benny, since a couple of people have asked about him. :)

This is Benny at three weeks old, barely a kilogram in weight:
BennyRelaxingSm by MoonsongWolf

And Benny at five weeks, over two kilograms:

BennySittingSm by MoonsongWolf

He's almost six weeks old now! He's eating solid food (guinea pig chow, timothy hay, and a small amount of fruits and veggies), but it will still be another five weeks before he's fully weaned. I feed Benny milk every four hours during the day.

For a cavy, it's exhausting work playing with toys all day:

BennysToys by MoonsongWolf

BennyNappingSm by MoonsongWolf

Benny is (mostly) housebroken already, and we're starting to work on harness training. He's a little shy around strangers, so it's going to be a few more weeks before he safely can go on walks in public. However, in the meantime, we're practising on the balcony:

BennyHarness by MoonsongWolf

Benny is turning into a fun, affectionate member of the family! He's a lot of work, however. Definitely not a pet for someone who works long hours or lacks patience. The care and habitat requirements are considerable compared to other rodents and rabbits. His enclosure takes up a fair portion of my spare bedroom, and it's likely not even his final habitat (depending on how large he is at adulthood; their weight range is 8-16 kilograms)

And yes... you can probably expect to see more cavy artwork popping up from time to time. ;)

Commission Styles

General Commission

What it says on the tin! You tell me what to draw, and I will draw it. This is the commission type to request if you have a specific vision in mind, and I allow alterations during the commission process (please see the appropriate section of the TOS below for more detailed information).

Roulette Commission

These are commissions where the commissioner provides a reference or physical description for their character(s), and I provide the rest! I will choose the pose, expression, mood, and background (if applicable). I may ask for information about the character's history or personality to develop ideas. The prices for these commissions are much lower than my regular commissions; as such, special rules apply. I DO NOT offer corrections or redraws for this commission type, other than to correct mistakes that I have made in the character's design as originally specified by the commissioner, nor do I offer refunds once the commission is complete. If you want a specific pose, theme, or mood for your commission, please request a regular commission instead of a roulette. For examples, past roulette commissions can be found here: moonsongwolf.deviantart.com/ga…

Photo Manipulation

Hold On To This Moment by MoonsongWolf Hope by MoonsongWolf African Lion: Simba by MoonsongWolf

My photo manipulations consist of a combination of photographs and painted imagery. I only use my own photos or legitimate stock resources. I may or may not be able to accept a specific photo manipulation commission based on the availability of photos for the subject or background. I can also work with images provided by the commissioner (e.g., a photo of their pet), and a small discount may apply in that case. All photo manipulations come with a simple/blurred background unless a more detailed background is requested. Detailed backgrounds will incur added expense depending on complexity.

Keychain/Charm

Creature Charm Gift Batch 2 by MoonsongWolf Vesperian Creatures Charm Batch by MoonsongWolf Vesperian Creatures Charm Batch 2 by MoonsongWolf

My keychains are made with shrinky dink material, coloured in coloured pencil, and sealed with a semi-gloss fixative spray. An attachment device (lobster claw clasp, split ring, etc.) is provided at no cost, but small add-on "danglers" are an extra charge (generally $1-2, but some specialty danglers may cost more). The lineart for the keychain may be approved by the commissioner before colouring, and there are no alterations past the lineart stage. Complex designs will require a larger base sketch to accommodate all of the details, and are thus more expensive.

:bulletblack:Simple design (1.5" - 2.5") - US$ 30
:bulletblack:Complex design (2"+) - US$ 40
Danglers/Add-ons are priced individually

Content and Subject Matter

Preferred Subjects

:bulletblack:Non-humanoid fantasy creatures
:bulletblack:Natural and fantasy backgrounds
:bulletblack:Mild blood or violence

Iffy Subjects
I will absolutely attempt any of the below subjects, but please note that I do not consider myself proficient at them! As such, you may be better off commissioning someone with a higher degree of skill than I possess if any of these are what you are looking for.
:bulletblack:City/urban scenes
:bulletblack:Humans and creatures with humanoid anatomy (weres, furries, etc)
:bulletblack:Vehicles, mechs, and robots
:bulletblack:Mild sexuality/nudity (same sex relationships are fine)

Prohibited Subjects
I reserve the right to refuse any commission with subject matter or content that I dislike or am uncomfortable with, which may include, but is not limited to, any of the following:
:bulletred:Disney characters
:bulletred:Strong political or religious themes
:bulletred:Nationalist or racist propaganda
:bulletred:Graphic sexual themes
:bulletred:Fetish material (e.g., inflation, vore)

Shipping and Handling

For most art items 9" X 12" and smaller, shipping within the United States is $6 for domestic priority mail (which includes tracking and insurance). International shipping charges are calculated according to the region in which the art is being shipped. I can estimate shipping charges based on postal code, and they generally range from $10-20 for registered mail (again, including tracking and insurance).

Payment Methods

For regular commissions less than US$ 30 (before shipping) and all roulette commissions, I require the entire payment before I will begin your commission. For regular commissions greater than US$ 30 (before shipping), I require half of the price less shipping before I will begin your commission. The second half must be paid after the sketch has been approved for colouring.

I currently only accept paypal. You MUST send the payment as a payment for "goods." Do NOT send it as a gift, money owed, or a payment for "services." For digital artwork, please be sure to mark the "no shipping required" block. You do not need to cover Paypal's fees. I will do this.

Commission Process

Length of time until your commission is complete varies widely depending on my schedule and how complex the commission is. I can provide estimates, if necessary. I keep my current completion status listed on my main page at all times, but you are absolutely free to note me any time for updates on your commission. I can even provide low resolution scans of my current progress upon request.

Redraws, Alterations, and Cancellations

For regular commissions that require a sketch to be approved before colouring, the commissioner is allowed two corrections (redraws) during the sketch phase. Please note that these must fit within the commissioner's original request. For example, a commissioner who requests a drawing of a wolf laying down may not ask for a correction in which the wolf is leaping. Changes to the original request that result in complete redraws or more than two corrections will incur an additional fee. This fee will be commensurate with my prices for pencil sketches/lineart.

Once the commission is complete, I will make any corrections if I have made mistakes. For example, if I have missed a marking specified on a reference sheet, I will add it in. Please note that these must be things that the commissioner initially requested (either in writing or on a reference image that was given to me) that I have neglected to include or exclude. If the commissioner makes alterations to the design after the commission has been completed, I do not guarantee that I will be able to correct the image. However, I will certainly try my best, so do not be afraid to ask!

Commissions may be cancelled at any time, either by me or by the commissioner. Should I cancel a commission at any time during the process, I will refund the entire price paid for the commission. The commissioner will receive any work pertaining to the commission that I have completed up to that point. Should the commissioner choose to cancel the commission, a refund will be given based upon the amount of work that has been already been completed on the commission. For example, if the commissioner requests a cancellation approximately halfway through the colouring stage, then the commissioner will be refunded the commission amount minus the price of the sketch and half of the colouring. The commissioner may choose to either have shipping refunded or have the incomplete artwork and related items mailed to them.

Questions?

Please ask if anything in my terms of service is unclear! I will be happy to answer any question that you might have.
I apologize for not being online as much over the last week! I had a few things come up.. all of them good for a change. :)

My partner found employment and was asked to start much earlier than we expected (next week!), so we spent the last four or five days scrambling to finish things up: some necessary tasks, like getting finances in order, but also some fun day trips, such as visiting Multnomah Falls.

And we managed to acquire a new family member:

BabyBenny by MoonsongWolf

Benedict ("Benny") Montgomery, a baby Patagonian cavy! The timing is almost perfect, as I will have days free to spend hand-feeding and bonding with him. I'm excited to work with him, but also a bit nervous, of course. He's young, and young animals can be very fragile. I feel confident that I have great advice from the breeder, though, as well as a highly recommended veterinarian in my area who is familiar with these guys. And I have been researching my rear end off for the last month, so I think I'm about as prepared as any new pet owner can be. Fingers crossed! I'll still feel much better when he's completely weaned (he can eat solids, but he'll still be on supplemental bottle for a while).

Since I'm going to be relegated to the house, caring for this silly bastard for a while, expect more artwork very soon! I should even have a new Pull Down Heaven page up in the next week, as soon as I have a few more commissions finished up. I'm really looking forward to working on it again. :D

Thanks for bearing with my random schedule and disappearances, guys! I should be caught up on notes and messages by Monday, so please feel free to give me another poke if I've somehow managed to miss your communique!

Take care and thanks for reading.

I am currently accepting commissioned artwork requests. For those who are on a budget, small art pieces such as roulette ACEOs start at $10, not including shipping. I will be accepting at least four commission spots at first, with an active wait list. I may take more commissions at a time if many of them are smaller pieces, such as ACEOs. Don't be afraid to ask; at worst, my current working list might be full, and I can put you on my wait list. :) The following commission types are currently available:

Roulette Commission

Keeper of the Fading Light by MoonsongWolf This is My Spot by MoonsongWolf Guardian of the New Dawn by MoonsongWolf
All examples of past roulette commissions can be found here: moonsongwolf.deviantart.com/ga…

These are commissions where the commissioner provides a reference or physical description for their character(s), and I provide the rest! I will choose the pose, expression, mood, medium, and background (if applicable). I do guarantee that the commission will be a traditional media piece with a background, and the original can be shipped to you.

Custom Character Creation

Squiddy by MoonsongWolf Brink by MoonsongWolf Nautilus by MoonsongWolf

I will design a character for you based on your specifications. You may choose the level of creative control that I have over the designing process. Your custom character will have a full body view (as pictured above). The character will be coloured with coloured pencils and have either no background or a slight colour wash (at my discretion). Custom character creation base price allows you to specify the following for your character: breed/species, name, gender, personality, and theme or occupation (e.g., "ice," "celestial," "adventurer"). You may also choose whether you want a colour pallet that is mostly natural, semi-natural, or unnatural. Please note that I will ONLY create quad/feral animal characters! No humans or animals with humanoid body types.

:bulletblack:Base Price: US$ 28 for 6" X 9" or US$ 36 for 8.5" X 11"
:bulletblack:Specify Colour Scheme/Pattern - +US$ 4

:bulletblack:Duo Partner (a smaller animal companion for your first animal) - +US$ 6
If you choose to commission another image (either roulette or regular) from me of the custom character(s) that I create for you, I will offer a 15% discount less shipping on that commission.

Photo Manipulation

Hold On To This Moment by MoonsongWolf Hope by MoonsongWolf African Lion: Simba by MoonsongWolf

My photo manipulations consist of a combination of photographs and painted imagery. I may or may not be able to accept a specific photo manipulation commission based on the availability of photos for the subject or background.  Also, be aware that some degree of artistic liberty must be taken with these. All photos used in the generation of the photo manipulation will be cleared through the commissioner first, to ensure the highest likelihood of generating a final image that the commissioner will be pleased with. I can also work with images provided by the commissioner (e.g., a photo of their pet), and a small discount may apply in that case.
