Moana: Crossover Style!
Chapter Seven, Part One: Luffy

(I do not, nor will I EVER, own The Legend of Korra, One Piece, Pokemon, or Moana. They all belong to their respective owners.)

Morning.

Korra's supplies and her sailboat were all washed up on a beach. Pidove was standing on the mast, a coconut over his head. He shook it off, stepped off of the pole, and fell into the bowl, with his feet sticking out.

Just then, Korra suddenly sat up, her face all sandy and her hair a mess. She spat out any sand that was in her mouth before she looked up and saw that she was on some sort of deserted island. She gasped, thinking she had lost the crystal. Opening up her necklace, she found, to her relief, that the Heart of Makoto was still inside. "Thank the spirits." Getting the sand off her face and out her hair, she stomped to the edge of the beach, glaring at the ocean.

"Um...What the hell was that about?!" she questioned. "You're supposed to be HELPING me!"

If the ocean could talk, its response would've been: "I did help you."

"And wrecking my boat!?" Korra added. "NOT!! Helping!!!" She attempted to kick the water, only for the ocean to pull away, sending her flailing to the ground. "...Fish pee in you! ALL DAY!!!" Korra shouted. "So there!" She noticed that Pidove, with the bowl over his head, kept walking into a boulder. "Seriously, Pidove?" Korra muttered before she looked up at a huge stone. "What the...?"

On the boulder mentioned above, there were tally marks on it, and all of them were in the shape of a large fish hook.

"Luffy...?" Korra asked, looking back at the ocean.

The ocean rose and gave an affirmative nod before going flat.

Korra gasped the moment she heard footsteps, wheeling around to see a large shadow approaching from behind the boulders. "Luffy...!" Korra whispered. Not wasting a second, she ran to fetch her paddle, grabbed Pidove by the throat, and hid behind her boat. "Luffy, demigod of the wind and sea, I am Korra of the Southern Water Tribe, and you will board my canoe!" Korra whispered to herself. "No. You will board my canoe! Yeah..." She took a peek from behind her boat to see if Luffy was getting closer, but he was nowhere in sight. "I am Korra of the Southern Water Tribe, and you will...board...my..."

All of a sudden, her boat was suddenly pulled out of the sand, causing Korra to shriek in surprise.

"Boat!" Luffy exclaimed, holding the boat with one arm. "A boat! The Gods have given me a--AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" He screamed in a high-pitched voice the moment he saw Korra, dropping the boat in the process. "...Oh, god, I didn't crush her, did I?" Luffy asked as he picked it up, only to find Pidove, sticking his head out of the sand. "What the...?"

"Ahem!"

Luffy turned to see Korra, pointing her oar at him. He nearly knocked her in the head with the canoe, causing her to duck. Nevertheless, she regained her composure.

"Luffy, shapeshifter, and demigod of the wind and sea," Korra began, "I am Korra of--"

"Hero of Man." Luffy interrupted.

"What?" Korra queried.

"Luffy, shapeshifter, and demigod of the wind and sea, and Hero of Man," Luffy pointed out, "I interrupted. From the top, Hero of Man. Go."

'...Is this guy for real?' Korra thought. "I am Ko--"

"Sorry, sorry, sorry," Luffy interrupted again, "and Women. Men and Women. Both. All. Not a guy-girl thing, Luffy is the Hero to All. You're doing great." He winked at Korra, clicked his tongue, and pointed his finger gun at the waterbender.

"Okay..." Korra muttered. "Anyway, I'm here to--"

"Oh, of course!" Luffy realized as he set Korra's boat down. "I always have time for my fans!" He took Korra's paddle, pulled Pidove from the sand, and used his beak to write on the paddle as mentioned earlier. "When you use a bird pokemon to write with, it's called tweeting." He tossed Pidove away and gave the oar back to Korra.

(A/N: Ha, tweeting. XD)

She looked at it and saw a picture of a fishhook with a heart next to it.

"Huh?" Luffy asked. "I know, not every day you get a chance to meet your hero."

*THWACK!!!* Korra hit the demigod in the abdomen with her paddle, knocking the air out of him for a bit, and grabbed him by the ear. "Listen, bub, you are not my hero!" she told him. "I didn't come all this way so that you could sign my paddle!" Korra showed him Makoto's heart inside of her necklace. "I'm here because you stole the Heart of Makoto, and you will board my canoe!" Korra pulled on Luffy's ear in an attempt to drag him onto her boat, as well as get her paddle. "Sail across the sea and put it back!" She grabbed her paddle, but she couldn't get Luffy to budge. Instead, his ear stretched, causing Korra to gasp.

"W-What the--?!" she questioned. "How come you're stretching?!"

"I ate a Devil Fruit," Luffy answered, "the Gum-Gum fruit."

"You mean those things are real?!" Korra asked.

"Yeah, they are," Luffy answered as he raised his head, which lifted her off the ground, and he pulled her off of his ear, setting her down. "But that's beside the point. I get the feeling that you don't like me, which is impossible because I have been stuck on this island for a thousand years trying to bring the heart as a GIFT to you mortals, so you could have the power to create life itself!"

Korra only blinked at him in confusion. This version didn't sound anything like how Master Katara told her.

"Yeah," Luffy added, "so what I believe you were trying to say, is thank you."

"Thank you?" Korra parroted.

"You're welcome!" Luffy replied.

"W-Wait, what?!" Korra questioned. "N-No, that's not what I...I-I mean..."

Luffy smirked as he raised an eyebrow at the teenage waterbender, who kept stammering.

"Seriously, why would I ever--"

"Okay, okay," Luffy responded before singing.

Luffy (singing): "I see what's happening here.
You're face to face with greatness, and it's strange."

Luffy lifted his necklace, introducing Korra to a tattoo version of himself, named Mini-Luffy. To Korra's surprise, the tattoo winked at her.

Luffy (singing): "You don't even know how you feel,"

Luffy then tossed his necklace away.

Luffy (singing): "It's adorable!"

He and his tattoo bumped fists.

Luffy (singing): "Well, it's nice to see that humans never change."

He grabbed Korra's paddle, spinning it, and her, around before catching her by the hand.

Luffy (singing): "Open your eyes. Let's begin."

Korra brushed her hair out of her face as she looked at Luffy.

Luffy (singing): "Yes, it's really me. It's Luffy: breathe it in!"

He tossed the paddle back to Korra, which she caught.

Luffy (singing): "I know it's a lot: the hair, the bod!"

Luffy flipped his hair and flexed his massive muscles, but Korra wasn't all that impressed. He began to flex his pecs, causing Mini-Luffy to jump back and forth.

Luffy (singing): "When you're staring at a demigod!"

Next, he began to dance.

Luffy (singing): "What can I say, except you're welcome
For the tides, the sun, the sky!"

He jumped up onto some rocks and grabbed Korra, who gasped as he picked her up.

Luffy (singing): "Hey, it's okay, it's okay,
                        You're welcome!"

Next, he set her down on the rocks.

Luffy (singing): "I'm just an ordinary demi-guy!
                        Hey!
What has two thumbs and pulled up the sky?
When you were waddling yay high?"

He slapped his chest, causing Mini-Luffy to smirk before he held up two thumbs and pushed up the sky. He soon pointed at himself.

Luffy: "This guy!"

Next, he clapped his hands and showed another tattoo on his abdomen, which showed Mini-Luffy stealing fire from a goddess who was very offended.

Luffy (singing): "When the nights got cold,
Who stole you fire from down below?
                        You're lookin' at him, yo!"

Luffy put his hand on Korra's shoulder as Mini-Luffy pulled on the sun with his fish hook.

Luffy (singing): "Oh, also I lassoed the sun.
                        You're welcome!"

He danced Korra.

Luffy (singing): "To stretch your days and bring you fun!"

On Luffy's shoulder, Mini-Luffy was holding a kite.

Luffy (singing): "Also, I harnessed the breeze.
                        You're welcome!"

Soon, a breeze came by and blew the kite away, along with Mini-Luffy.

Luffy (singing): "To fill your sails and shake your trees!"

The sailboat moved by the breeze and shook the palm trees on Luffy's body, then Mini-Luffy dropped onto some people, who carried him across, parading and celebrating him.

Luffy (singing): "So, what can I say, except you're welcome!"

As Mini-Luffy g carried, he took a coconut, drank its milk, and grinned. He leaped off of them, and landed on a boat and pulled an island from the ocean.

Luffy (singing): "For the islands, I pulled from the sea!"

As Luffy kept singing, Korra began to smile a bit.

Luffy (singing): "There's no need to pray, it's okay,
                        You're welcome! Ha!
I guess it's just my way of being me!"

He took a bow before Korra, and Mini-Luffy did the same before a crowd of cheering tattoo people.

Luffy (singing): "You're welcome,
                        You're welcome!"

At that moment, Luffy pulled out a tapestry.

Luffy (singing): "Well, come to think of it,"

He used said-tapestry as a background.

Luffy (singing): "Kid, honestly, I can go on and on.
I can explain every natural phenomenon."

He jumped into a tapestry version of the ocean, where sea turtles swam around him. Next, he pointed to a tapestry version of grass, and the ground where bugs crawled underneath.

Luffy (singing): "The tide, the grass, the ground?
Oh, that was Luffy just messing around!"

Luffy grabbed an eel and threw it into the ground.

Luffy (singing): "I killed an eel,
                        I buried its guts,"

Soon, a giant coconut tree grew out of the ground, which Luffy climbed up.

Luffy (singing): "Sprouted a tree,
                        Now you got coconuts!"

At that instant, a giant bat monster appeared, but Luffy grabbed it by the snout and scrunched it into a ball.

Luffy (singing): "What's the lesson?
                        What is the takeaway?"

He jumped up, did a flip, and dunked the bat monster into the mouth of a Sea King.

Luffy (singing): "Don't mess with Luffy when he's on the break-away!"

At that point, he started to show off his tattoos.

Luffy (singing): "And the tapestry here on my skin,"

One of the tattoos on his back depicted him fighting off a giant Golden Dorado Fishman.

Luffy (singing): "Is a map of the victories I win!"

Luffy began to flex his arms and pecs.

Luffy (singing): "Look where I've been,
                        I make everything happen!
                        Look at that mean Mini-Luffy a tickety-tappin'!"

Mini Luffy was tap dancing on a stage. Next, Luffy was tapping his fingers on a coconut, causing Korra to smile.

Luffy (rhythmically): "Hah, hah, hah, hah, hah, hah, hey!"

Around them, the whole tapestry seemed to be dancing, even the monsters, and Luffy took the oar from Korra while she followed him.

Luffy (singing): "Well, anyway, let me say you're welcome!"

Tapestry People (singing): "You're welcome!
                                        (Hah, hah, hah!)"

Luffy (singing): "For the wonderful world, you know!"

As the tapestry version of islanders walked by Luffy and Korra, the demigod took a coconut from one of the islanders, spun it around on his finger, rolled it down his shoulders, and bounced it to Korra, who caught it. Next, he showed up beside her, tossing her papaya and three bananas, and he left, yet he showed up in front of her, only he was upside down and gave her a whole hand of bananas.

Luffy (singing): "Hey, it's okay, it's okay,
                        You're welcome!"

Tapestry People (singing): "You're welcome!
                                        (Hah, hah, hah!)"

Luffy (singing): "Well, come to think of it, I gotta go!"

Suddenly, tapestry palm trees bent down and lifted both Luffy and Korra.

Tapestry People: "(Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!)"

Luffy (singing): "Hey, it's your day to say you're welcome!"

Soon, tapestry versions of sea animals swam by.

Tapestry Sea Animals (singing): "You're welcome!
                                                (Hah, hah, hah!)"

Tapestry People: "Hey!"

Luffy (singing): "' Cause I'm gonna need that boat."

Soon, the sea animals swam up and out of the ocean, and Luffy and Korra were sailing on a tapestry version of Korra's canoe, with flowers and leis falling from the sky.

Tapestry People: "Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!"

Luffy caught one of the leis, and gave it to Korra, placing it around her neck.

Luffy (singing): "I'm sailing away, away,
                        You're welcome!"

Tapestry People (singing): "You're welcome!
                                        (Hah, hah, hah, hah!)
                                        Hey!"

Luffy (singing): "' Cause Luffy can do everything, but float!"

(A/N: Especially because he ate a Devil Fruit.)

The whole tapestry, the sun, the birds, the sea animals, the people, the faces on the fabric itself, they all danced around Luffy and Korra as they sailed on the latter's boat.

Tapestry (singing): "You're welcome!"

Luffy (singing): "You're welcome!"

Luffy picked Korra up and twirled her onto the island.

Tapestry (singing): "You're welcome!"

Luffy (singing): "You're welcome!"

When Korra finished twirling, she found herself in some sort of cave, holding rocks and fish bones.

"Huh?!" she questioned before she turned and saw Luffy, who waved to her.

Luffy: "And thank you!"

Luffy sealed the entrance by placing a large boulder in front of it.

"HEY!!!" Korra shouted, running to the closed-off entrance. "LET ME OUT OF HERE!!! YOU LYING, RUBBERY SON OF A--"

The sun was high over the ocean, sending down its powerful rays.
Korra was out on the water, sailing toward...well, wherever Luffy might be. "I am Korra of the Southern Water Tribe," Korra began as she tried to tie the rope to her sail on her paddle, "you will board my canoe, sail across the sea, and restore the Heart of Makoto!"
*Bang!*
"I am Korra--"
*Bang!*
Korra paused for a moment when she heard that bang. "Of the Southern--" *Bang!* "...Water Tribe." *Bang!* She looked over to the hatch where she stored her food. A coconut suddenly sprang out, startling her. "AAH!!" she yelped before she reached down to the coconut and lifted it up, only

Now I'm curious: Can He still not swim if he ate the fruit?
Though I guess that would explain why he didn't just swim off the island.

WAIT
Why didn't Maui do that?!
