Okay, it just sparked my curiosity. I was wondering if I was mispronouncing my own character's name wrong. Here are the results.
So for a long amount of time I thought that Ryu was pronounced "ree-oo" and I was wrong. Although it isn't pronounced "rie-oo" ether. It's pronounced "yu." The "r" in "Ryu" is silent. When I was creating Ryu Amori, I thought of Ryu from Street Fighter and thought the name was suitable. So, I gave him the name "Ryu."

Actually, the "r" is not silent, not to mention that in Japanese the "r"'s are pronounced as "l"'s. Therefore, how to pronounce his full name is (Lee-you Ah-More-Lee), You got the correct Romanji spelling though.
