The Community Relations team exists to facilitate communication amongst deviantART's administration, volunteers and members. Our goal is to foster creative genius by encouraging artists to grow, collaborate and participate in a friendly and supportive artistic environment.

1. Daily Deviations
Earlier this week I posted an update here about changes to Daily Deviation descriptions. The only change from what was written there is that the description character limit has been increased to 500 from the previous 400 limit. Aside from that, we have implemented a technological fix to prevent an artist from being selected within 3 months of receiving their last daily deviation - something that we previously had to manually manage, so we're very excited about this change
And finally!! The thumbnails on the daily deviations are HUGE
!! Making the incredible artwork far more prominent on the page - after all that's what it's all about! My team and I are very proud of the deviations we choose to feature on a daily basis and I highly encourage feedback and contributions from the community. Please consult and send your suggestions to the appropriate people
I also appreciate that our selections will not and cannot appeal to every single person in the community and on occasion something will not appeal to you. When this happens, I implore you to not leave hateful comments on the deviation but instead send a note or email (moonbeam13@deviantart.com) to me should you feel the need to vent. Please remember that people do not choose to be featured and should not bear the brunt of decisions myself or my team have made. I also encourage you to send suggestions for improvements to the Daily Deviation process or feedback in general to myself as well. Your thoughts are important to me and imperative to keeping the community as incredible as it is. Please use your voice and remember that we are all in this together
