A Personal Note from moonbeam13 - I'd like to take a moment to apologize for the delay in publishing this newsletter. Just as it was coming together, my grandfather took a turn for the worst and things got a little hazy. He passed away on Friday March 7th and today is my first day back at work. Thank you for your understanding.

1. New Year = New Crazy
2014 took off from the gate like a well-bred thoroughbred and now two months have gone in the blink of an eye. While I'm not one for resolutions, I did mark down a few goals for myself, such as getting back to posting on my food blog or learning how to sew. Some of my goals certainly demand that I consciously carve out time for these things or it just never happens. Life is busy, but sometimes not good busy, just the busy of everyday crazy and I'm finding as I get older, the everyday crazy takes over and you need to say 'STOP' and take some time for yourself. I recently read an article about this topic and in it this woman had decided to create a list of all those things she wanted to do but never found the time to. Whether it was a tedious task of sorting something or taking time to knit, all of these 'non-deadline' items were placed onto the list. She then devoted one hour each week to tackling something on the list. She referred to it as her 'power hour' and it stuck with me and I've started implementing the 'Power Hour' into my life. I think it's doable because it's not a huge commitment. It's an hour a week, you're not giving up a giant chunk of time but it's enough that I feel that I'm accomplishing things, for me. Maybe in the future I'll have more than one Power Hour in a week
So a couple of questions for you!
1. Did you make any resolutions/goals for this year? If so, what were they (if you don't mind sharing
2. What sort of items would you put on your 'Power Hour' list?
