Hypnotize by Moonbeam13 Hypnotize by Moonbeam13
"We must become acquainted with our emotional household: we must see our feelings as they actually are, not as we assume they are. This breaks their hypnotic and damaging hold on us." ~Vernon Howard

The quote really sums up what I'm working through right now and I'm finding myself drawn to repeating shapes and grain right now so there you have it, experimentation abounds.

Great photo. Fantastic shot of capturing these geometric shapes which give a hypnotising illusion. Haha, it actually hurts my eyes if I view this for too long.

The way they are repeated give the rythm to be hypnotised...
I love the perspective here, the lovely words.
Your experiment is great!!!!

I've never seen a bike rack from this angle, much more interesting than looking down at one.I like how the depth makes it look like the triangles are all different sizes, even though they are the same.

once again, black and white's a good choice here. i like all the shapes (triangles) repeating over and over. the circles (bike wheels) and lines (from the building) in the background give a geometric abstract feel to this piece. it certainly does illustrate the quote in your description well. it seems a little fuzzy though.

I love these perspective things - especially when they have something at the end, like the bike, that sticks out and breaks the pattern!
nice title as well, I like it! :)

staring at this for too long does weird things to my head :dizzy: if it weren't for the bikes breaking it up a bit, i might be stuck in this forever... :faint:

very nice, this really symbolizes your new found focus & determination in life...even though there are a few apparent obstacles in your view, you're expecting them & capable of effectively dealing with them.
Of course the infinite wheel of life is represented here as is infinity…you’re on your way. :+fav:

Very interesting photo. You could hang a bunch of clothes on there and call it something. If Christo and Jeanne-Claude get away with it, why not you?
