It's resources and art sharing time again! [EMOTE] As usual, the feature will have three parts: One with resources posted during the last few months (stock images, tutorials, lineart/bases, brushes, etc.), then a selection of great artwork I have discovered recently with less than 50 favorites, and finally interesting community news such as contests or similar. One hundred editions — and the journey continues. As I wander through DeviantArt, certain images still stop me in my tracks. Sometimes they echo one another in ways I hadn't expected; sometimes they simply belong together. I bring them together here as a visual journey — a sequence of themes, colors, textures, moods, and contrasts, where one photograph leads naturally to the next. Some come from artists I've been following for years. Others are recent discoveries from the Front Pages, journals, or simply from wandering a little further than usual. Each one has found its way into my Favorites for a reason. After one hundred editions, the title still says exactly what I feel when I find the right image: "I wish I had taken this photo." Not because I could have done it better — but because, for a fleeting moment, it expresses something I would have liked to see, feel, or capture myself. Tell the artist what caught your eye, something your particularly liked or didn't like. Tell the artist something you think they could have done differently or better. Suggest an alternate title; it tells the artist what you saw in the image. Interact with the artwork, continue its story. Ask the artist how or why they did something. If nothing else, even "Ooh, pretty!" or "Oh, ick!" is a lot more information than no comment at all.

[DEVIATION] A small service note for EU-based artists with a shop [DEVIATION] I want spread some awareness, in case you haven't seen it yet: Since August 12th, there is a new EU packaging regulation (PPWR) in place directed towards businesses sending goods within the EU. In its current form (and among other things) it prompts you to register in each country of the EU you are shipping to for waste regulation. How this is handled is still quite messy, but the whole procedure gets expensive really fast and is not feasible for most small businesses. And on top: A breach of this regulation like sending even one package without registration can lead to severe sanctions (huge fines or even jail time in some countries). So if you run a shop where you send stuff to other EU countries, be warry about this and check how these rules apply to you. It might also be relevant to non-EU artists
