Yeah so I was dancing today. And see dancing to me is moer like working out in that I don't do it for fun, it just seems that if there's a week I go without any type of physical...whatever. Well, anyhow. I play pump it up. It's like a korean version of DDR. It's easy to play for that sake of excercise because you start, the arows start going up. You either do it or you don't.
The problem is that most of the time when I play I attract a huge crowd (I'm really good at it) a crowd I'd rather not be there. So i'm playing minding my own buisness, and people gather, expecting me to entertain them with conversation and more dancing because it's the sort of thing that attracts attention. Now I don't have the breath, and tonight I especially didn't want to bother it's just easier whn you don't acknowlege people. Then of course they start getting all defensive saying stuff like: "oh he must do this all the time" or "he must hav a lot of time on his hands" etc. At one poinr some jerk actually got up there with me and starting meesing around. I was this close to kicking him in the face. But whenever it comes to stuff like that I always opt to ignore them.
I dunno, people suck sometimes. It makes me not want to do this and just join a gym or something. It sucks that I can't do something just because it's unusual.
well that's that. I wonder how everyone's doing. I haven't checked up in a while.
- Reading: nothing
- Watching: nope
i know exactly how that is, we have Pump at owr mall and everytime my friend and i play people crowd around and start acting stupid, so, you're not alone
I love DDR!!!!
Gah I hate how that feels. The arcade near me used to have a Pump It Up and I got pretty decent at it. The last time I used it (before they replaced it with a rigged DDR) I was with my friend Damien there. He's really new to the dance machines and whatnot, but he wanted to give the Pump thing a try. So I played against him on the easiest level, but on a semi-fast song, Space Fantasy (the dude in the backround is so awesome ) and I was playing really well, but he was doing horribly... and so this crowd gathered and started cheering me on and making fun of him, and I just got fed up and left the platform.... grah.
....tell them to die. just...die. and stab them with forks?
