Kim possible boycott CGI by montrain101 Kim possible boycott CGI by montrain101
Kim possible stands in front of the picket line holding a sign says no CGI she is boycotted propose revival shows in CGI  shows which date back from the 90s and 2000s shows which were originally in hand-drawn or 2-D animation which were pretty popular app time including Kim possible  Kim along with the rest of the crew are angry at the propose CGI reboot

Personally

I agree with Kim that they are just too many newer and rebooted shows that are in CGI not just on Disney as well as other network as well   I honestly do not want to see Kim possible to come back in the CGI I prefer hand drawing animation just like they did with the Lion Guard   which is another shell that I'm happy to see  because I myself grew up with the lion King and I'm glad they didn't put in CGI it would've look hideous replacing most of the cast members is one thing  but rebooted it into CGI

So not the drama   seriously

Well, y'know, a majority of rebooted cartoons these days are mostly made in Flash, like Teen Titans Go for instance. And I think others are still sorta hand drawn. 😐

Hand drawn yes, but done using what animators call tradigital media which is to hand draw in digital media. If they do reboot older shows like Duck Tales, Gargoyles or even Kim Possible, I am hoping that Disney uses Toon Boom harmony considering they invested a lot of money into that digital art program.

i agree just like they did with the lion King's been off the lion guard  they use a digital version of the hand drawing animation style just like the original they used a digital pen on a digital screen which allows them to use a combination of both the old and new
It looks just like the the lion King films  but was more lighting to it  which of one of the reasons why I watch the spinoff
I sure hope they use the same method on a revive Kim possible series (personally I would prefer season five) instead of using CGI
What do you think ??

Hmm, I'd be more interested in Kim Possible future life. An adult Kim Possible dealing with being a mom and being a "super" hero of sorts with those skills of hers. That, or her daughter (son?) getting her hero genes and a new generation of super spies begins. But yes, I would prefer tradigital for revivals. 3D is only good for certain things like Sophia the first.

It sounds like a good idea as long gets in the 2-D animation or hand-drawn it doesn't have to be perfect as long as does not CGI

Maybe CGI for some difficult scenes. Kind of like how they did the Wildebeest stampede in The Lion King. They made one wildebeest model and copied it a thousand times to make a stampeding herd. Can you imagine trying to do something of that scale with paper? Nah!

You do have a point it's up back then they made it looked like it was look 2D on the outside 3-D on the inside  however
The production company they have chosen to do most of the animation in the show is Canadian based company Mercury
Filmworks which offer their services to the show

The three reasons why I watch the lion guard are

One  I grew up with a Lion King when I was the kid

Two  they use the original hand drawing but with more lighting also known as digital 2D

Three  because they are animals we don't have to worry about them texting or Instagram

Seriously who the hell would want to see that I lion with A cell phone
