This is the Z-tablet, a portable device used by the Z-Force. It's uses include an encyclopedia that records and stores information on Metafauna. It also has a GPS, a camera used for taking pictures or recording videos, it has a communicator, and voice recorder. It keeps track of current time and temperature in the area, it also detects life signs and element Z levels.

This device was inspired by the pokedex from pokemon and the sheikah slate from breath of the wild.
