Size: 10 feet tall (3 meters), 30 feet long ( 9.2 meters long), and weighs 2 tons

Habitat: tropical rainforests

Powers and abilities: dark manipulation, teeth, claws, and spiked tail

Element: Dark/umbra

Weaknesses: light/radiant

Aggression level: highly aggressive


Pantherodons are feline like creatures and they are part of the genus mega panthera. These Metafauna mostly resembles a black panther but with several differences, being their much larger, have a short pair of saber teeth,
black scales and most interesting is a long, almost prehensile tail with spikes protruding from the end. Pantherodons are native to the tropical rainforest. They are a close relative to the Pyrodon, both sharing the same genus and habitat yet both creatures have evolved different lifestyles.



Abilities:

Saber teeth and Claws: The short saber teeth and claws are the pantherodon's main weapons to bring down prey. They use thier claws to slash or hold down the unfortunate victim and uses their short saber teeth to either suffocate the prey by piercing the wind pipe or ripping the throat out.


Tail and spikes: Pantherodons possess a long and almost prehensile tail with spikes protruding from the end. The tail can be used in two different ways, either to swing thier tails at rivals and other predators or they can use spikes at the end as long-range projectile weapon.


Speed and Mobility: Pantherodons are fast and agile, they can reaching top speed of 38 miles. They are also great climbers and can jump up to 70 feet in the air.



Dark camouflage and teleportation: Pantherodons can become invisible by blending in with any dark areas or shadows during the night, allowing them to sneak up on prey undetected, however this ability can go even further. Pantherodons have the ability to teleport from one dark area to another. Mostly used to either escape if injured or as way to ambush prey.



Shadow Claws: They can project and retract razor-sharp claws of dark energy from their fingertips for combat.


Enraged: When enraged the Pantherodon eyes turn red and it becomes faster and stronger, it teleports more frequently to surprise attack it's opponents multiple times.




Weaknesses:

Light/radiant element: Light Elemental weapons can completely neutralize the Pantherodon's ability to hide in the shadows.


Stamina: They fast and powerful, they aren't built for long distance chases, if they can't pace themselves they will tire out quickly.



Larger Predators: Despite being a deadly hunter, the Pantherodons still faces competition from other predators such as they're larger cousin the Pyrodons, and others. Because of this Pantherodons are mostly nocturnal, avoiding conflict from larger predators.
