How to Scent Polymer Clay

Well, here it is folks.

When I first started playing with clay, I searched high and low for any advice I could find on how to scent polymer clay. And to spare you the frustrations, I am now sharing some techniques I have tried with you all.

All I ask in return is a simple credit to my website if you post or share it. Share the knowledge!

Scenting is one thing, but talent is another thing completely! There are three polymer clay artists that I know of that scent their work, and they have been around for quite awhile now. Their work is amazing to start out with, even without the scent... and I consider them the pioneers of scented polymer clay jewellery. None of them have claimed this, of course, out of the humbleness of their hearts, but I still think that the world would be a lot less lovely smelling without them. :P

I encourage you to check them out, and maybe even grab a piece of their jewellery.

If you glaze the scented charm or whatever will you still be able to smell it?
