Yeerks VS Galactic Empire by Monster-Man-08 Yeerks VS Galactic Empire by Monster-Man-08
A big ol' space battle between two very different villainous empires: Star War's Galactic Empire (the white ships) and Animorphs' Yeerk Empire (the black ships). By interesting coincidence, the colors of the ships parallel the colors of chess.

Yeerk weapons technology has greater firepower than the Imperial equivalents* but Imperial forces are more numerous** and FTL via Hyperdrive is way faster than Zero-Space***.

The Force, Morphing technology and any hypothetical ways they'd combine**** are wild cards.

* See in The Experiment where Ax comments about how if the Yeerk just wanted to kill lots of humans they could simply ignite the atmosphere with their weapons, whereas the Empire requires one-of-a-kind superweapons for their planet-destroying needs.
** The Yeerks haven't even came close to fully exploring their galaxy and most of the territory they know about isn't under their control. The Empire runs the majority of its galaxy. The population difference alone should let the Empire bury the Yeerks in sheer numbers.
*** Crossing the entire galaxy is a matter of around a month with the Empire's Hyperdrive-equipped ships. The Andalite fleet using Zero-Space meanwhile, took practically the entire series to cover a much smaller distance.
**** Does morphing a force-sensitive grant force-sensitivity while in their form, can a Yeerk in a force-sensitive host use the force, can using the force to sense presences be used to uncover hidden controllers by detecting the Yeerk, etc?

I'm not so sure that Zero-Space is slower than Hyperdrive. The Andalites used that time to assemble and prepare their fleet, and were more focused on defending other worlds, so they're not a good source to figure that out.
The Yeerks have never been unable to use the powers of their hosts, so it stands to reason that a Yeerk in a force-sensitive body body can use the force just as well as its host. As for the morphing, Visser 3 is the only Yeerk with that power, and he's far more likely to rely on his monster forms to overwhelm his opponents, so a force-sensitive morph is unlikely to even come into play. Not sure if you can use the force to detect hidden controllers, but the Empire only has 2 Sith lords, only one of which tends to be active, and that doesn't sound like it's nearly enough to route out a decent number of possible controllers.

I'd say it's more likely that Palpatine makes a lucrative deal with the Yeerk Empire. Think of all the misery and despair for the Dark Side to feed on!

The Yeerks are tecnoglically out matched as Star Wars tech has shown to be even better than Andalite tech. The Yeerks actually remind me of the CIS a bit. Inthe Star Wars verse I could imagine the Yeerk Empire being allied with the Empire/First Order depending on theera. If its during the original trilogy the Yeerks would side with the Empire whose the big boys in power this time while the Andalites would help fund the Rebel Alliance to fight a proxy war with the Yeerks and their Imperial allies. If during the New Republic era the Andalites and others would most likely be welcomed by the New Republic with open arms and the Yeerks would still most likely join the Imperial Remnant/First order. Since the New Republic out-matches the First Order they would most likely use Yeerks as spies and dissenters on Republic worlds, basically the Yeerks having the same role as they did in the Animorph books with their primary mission being stealth and sabotage to weaken a planet before the main invasion.

Yeerks come from the book series Animorphs, which is completely unrelated to Star Wars. The Yeerks are a race of tiny parasitic slugs that can control another being's body by crawling into their brain, and they've enslaved several other races and established an empire of their own by doing just that.

A Galactic empire vs Yeerk empire chess game? Sounds alright. Also, the Yeerks aren't slouches when it comes to space battles. Their ships are powerful, they've engaged in plenty of space battles with the Andalites and I think they've won most of them. I like Star Wars as much as the next guy, but I'm giving my edge to the Yeerks.

Sidious solos the Yeerks.

Sidious can consume all of space, alter time, and rip reality itself through the use of Force Storms, burn entire planets with his Force lightning, mind dominate twenty billions, while also draining the a Force out of them, did galactic size battle mediation for straight 23 years and he did it for 24/7 without having a rest during his reign as the Emperor of the Galactic Empire up until to his death above Endor, he had the power to mind dominate hundreds of quadrillions as proven, he can mind dominate an entire galaxy, had became so powerful that he exists as a being of pure dark side energy , had created Force Defense so durable that it can survive attacks that literally consume and destroys everything it touches, as to not let Luke and R2-D2 or Imperial fleets transport to Byss as to not being destroyed by the all-destructive power of the Force Storm and he can also create Force Defense on scales of entire fleets, it took every single goddamn Jedi from the time of their creation up until to 11 A.B.Y. to basically seal his spirit into Chaos (the Star Wars Equivalent of hell) for an eternity and still not killing him, move at high-end relativistic speeds, and when he is a spirit, he moves at MTFL speeds.

This is all the evidence of what all, I said in this post:

Don't underestimate the Stormtroopers, their armor, and their blasters

Also, Turbolaser firepower ranges from kilotons to teratons, as shown an quad turbolaser cannon shoots 200 Gigatons per shot.

Yes but are the yeerks as big as the Galactic Empire, and do the have the Empire's WMDs (Death Stars, Super Star Destroyers, etc). I mean, I could see the yeerks having 2/3 of a fleet (fighters and star destroyer sized ships, but not super star destroyers). I used to read a lot of animorphs.
I honestly think that the Yeerks would try the same deal with the Galactic Empire that they did with humans. Slowly ease an invasion through controllers, starting out with isolated people or wookies or whatever but trying ASAP to get to influential politicians or spiritual leaders. Perhaps have thier fingers in slaver/human-alien trafficking operations, try to have a bunch of inside people at the cloning facilities, and perhaps having designated areas to keep humans as sex slaves to reproduce new hosts for infestation (that would be a dark turn for the animorphs, darker than normal at least...I like it, I want to see an adult swim/toonami Animorphs anime). A penny for ANYone's thoughts.
Oh, PS it would be awesome the Yeerks also tried to take over the Covenant from Halo, same strategy, possibly easier...

True. He could ultimately win, but I think if it weren't for the force he would be surprised at how much control (no pun intended) they had. Especially when he found out they've been doing it for hundreds of years which is why nobody noticed.
In a way, Palpatine would be getting a taste of his own medicine. Getting the rug pulled out from under him by people with players on both sides.
But even then, even if he destroys the Yeerk fleet, how is he gonna know who's a controller and who's not? Big Galaxy out there with lots of tech, tough aliens, and rich aliens with personal battle droid militias.
Maybe the would avoid Palpatine and just go from one planet to the other, try some of the plans I put out, esp if he were unaware of their existence.

Impossible.SW has literally over a dozen types of scanners.
And they can make one just to find the Yeerks.

Now i don't know anything about the Yeerks except they need host bodies and have to periodicly bathe in some kind of sludge pool to survive.
SW can just drown them in numbers.Or spam them with droids.

Eh, you have a point. Actually, you have a really good point. Ok, the slugs couldn't take over the galactic empire, maybe not the government or any of the main factions....
Although I could see them taking over smaller factions. CIS Remnant cells (cuz then they control the people who control the droids), Slavers in crime syndicates would be good (new hosts of varying forms, they get enough they could start breeding them). Perhaps people on the inside of cloning facilities. They would never be able to conquer the entire galactic empire, perhaps they wouldn't even try...but they might be able to get just enough power to take it and apply it to somewhere else....
They might be able to infiltrate the Empire just to have somebody to spy and pull strings, but you have a point they couldn't take over too many people without drawing attention to themselves.

That's all true. The Yeerks want slaves not corpses, so they would try that. Of course, that would also mean that by the time this battle happens, the Yeerks would've infiltrated to point that not only would they know where, how and when to strike, but they would also control some of the guys giving the orders.
Also, you're not the only one who wants to see an Animorphs anime. I've been wanting one ever since I first started reading the books.

Yeah, Chief. A real anime, not something stupid or too tropey.
As far as theme songs, asides from the one from the show (maybe as credits) I could see
"Calling All Angels" by Train and for the David Trilogy the song PopArena used "Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds O children".
What songs would you have for the opening and closing credits? What anime would you base it off of, style and tone?
I heard somebody say for animation style and tone a mix of Hellsing Ultimate and Bleach. I heard another say Full Metal Alchemist and/or Brotherhood and Ghost in the Shell. I would appreciate any combo, but they should consider throwing in some Young Justice (not anime, but it's the closest thing we'll get to teen superheroes that operate like spies instead of petty crime fighters. It was a good show.)
Now to look up good animorph crossovers. The one with MLP is actually pretty good. I saved a list of ones to look up somewhere. I even think there was a crossover with Avatar.
A crossover with Hunger Games and Fallout 3/New Vegas would be cool. Probably New Vegas cuz we think the stories take place in California. Maybe the bear on the New California Republic is Rachel screwing up at morphing cuz she's sick. PS Rachel is the Bear Jew.
What about animorphs and Far Cry 3 or Young Justice Crossover? Bioshock infinite? Star Wars and Halo would be interesting but too much for them to handle. Perhaps Aliens, Predators, and Independance Day invaders.

Okay my man, you might hate me after this
1) I asked friends on what anime to base the art style and tone of an anime animorphs. I got a mix between Bleach and Hellsing Ultimate from one friend, a sgt who took me to a few conventions. That combination would be a balance between the highschool and the dark and violent aspect. and then somebody else said Ghost in the Shell or ergo proxy for the realism and CG fight scenes. While I was in Afghanistan, I was thinking the anime style would be between FMA, Shakugan No Shana, Fate Stay night and Naruto, maybe an amerime like Avatar: the Last Airbender but that was because I woudn't be picky about the quality of animation as I was story. Hell, I would settle for a chibi anime if it wasn't aimed at little kids. I'm inclined to respect the first examples it should be styled after. You? What anime style, tone, and target audience should the animorphs take serious notes from?

2) what would make the best crossover for animorphs? I heard of good ones with Avatar: The Last Airbender and MLP FIM. I was thinking South Park would be hilarious. For a serious game, I think animorphs would go well with a lot the quirky sci fi games on xbox. Halo would be an obvious one, but both Oddworld games that would be on xbox, Splinter Cell...Psychonauts and Conker: Reloaded, maybe? Hell, on ps2 they woulda made interesting party characters on kingdom hearts. I guess the question I'm asking you is, if there was a crossover that was serious, like Marvel Ultimate alliance, Justice League or Kingdom Hearts, what would animorphs be paired with? Cuz to get their feet in the door, they should probably be a background element in a bigger world, then that works out maybe a specialized game on them could be made (although POPARENA pointed out it would be very difficult). Also, the other part of this question would be which crossovers would be the funniest. I think animorphs and goosebumps. They would eventually say screw it and find the oh-so-scary floating heads or goblin kids and tear them to shreds. Power Rangers? Yeah, they would kick butt at first, scaring everybody by mauling the human sized monsters just to have to run like hell when he got big. Outernet because it's a parody of animorphs and they would call it out-then help. Calvin and Hobbes? Just imagine. Ben 10? Ooh, that would get rough real quick.
I don't know if an animorphs/Aliens vs Predator crossover would be serious or funny. Animorphs vs Predator? They would get a taste of thier own medicine from something like a quieter version of the Howlers...And the Xenomorphs? That would be like the worst of taxxons and Hork-bajir combined.
I'm wondering if animorphs crossed over with a Planet of the Apes and/or "V" series would be interesting.
One thing that would be appropriate would Red Dawn, Homeward Bound, and "V" miniseries (that's basically a good equation for the premise of animorphs, to explain it to a newcomer).

3) last question. How do you think the Yeerks would go about it if this universe was a shared universe with Halo and Star Wars? Would they have guys in all the factions, including the Rebel Alliance/New Republic? And would they prefer to try to infest CIS seperatists, since the majority of the troops are mechanical and don't need to be infested, just the ones in charge that make and program them. Who would they want more? The empire for it's vast army of cloned and drafted humans and massive star fleet, the UNSC for it's Spartans, or the Covenant and Rebel Alliance for it's variety?
