Spore Sea Monsters by Monster-Man-08 Spore Sea Monsters by Monster-Man-08
A bunch of sea monsters made in Spore (which, unfortunately, takes out the "sea").

Of particular interest are the globster/whale carcass and the purple one with a mouth like the Harlequin Demon from the Nightmare Before Christmas (and it actually animates right!)

All these looks so epic, it's sad that they didn't add a water stage before heading onto land. It felt a bit weird getting from a cell to a land-living creature instantly.

They kinda make it work with the "fish" part of cell stage. They can be seen in Tribal stage.

How the heck do you make the purple creature's mouth? I really, really want to know.

If you download it into your game (he should be uploaded in my username, take it from there) you can take it apart to see exactly how I did it.
I think pressing the "I" button while hovering over a part tells you what part it is.

Though basically each jaw is one of the thicker armor piece (forget which one exactly) with several of the pyramid-shaped armor parts as the 'teeth', all placed on the creature's body (not limbs) with the actual "mouth" area's spines far thinner than the rest of the body.

Oh... my... geez. These look so cool! My favorites are the Harlequin Demon-looking one, and the black thing with the Larveyes.
