Animorphs Races: Arn + Chadoo by Monster-Man-08 Animorphs Races: Arn + Chadoo by Monster-Man-08
The Arn are masters of genetics, so much so that they had little ability or interest in traveling past their own moons. They're related to the chadoo, small gliders that eat tree sap. Curiously, the Arn display separate arms and wings, as opposed to the chadoo who's arms are part of the wing. The Arn also vary wildly in color.

After an asteroid collided with their world, the Arn created a new ecosystem to keep the planet alive. The Hork-Bajir were made to care for the trees, while several monsters prevented them from meeting their creators. It isn't known how "new" these creatures are, whether they are simply clones of long-dead monsters, hybrids of a few creatures, giants that managed to survive the asteroid, or even entirely new species.

The Arn are, sadly, extinct. They gravely underestimated the Yeerks, thinking the parasites would simply leave if the Arn made it impossible to control them alive. The Yeerks have a nasty habit of killing what can't simply be controlled.

BOOK: The Hork-Bajir Chronicles and Animorphs #34 - The Prophecy

Just a theory, but the only way that we know the Arn are extinct is the word of Quafijinivon when he claims that he is the last of the species and that he will soon be dead. There is no further evidence to support of dispute this claim. I always thought that if there were in any more Arn still living then Quafijinivon would probably lie about it and say that they were dead to protect them from the yeerks in the event that the Animorphs were ever made into controllers. So it is entirely possible that there are still some of them left hiding away somewhere undiscovered by the yeerks. But like I said, just a theory.

Good job there!
I never could actually picture the Arn in my mind, unlike other Animorphs creatures, but this exactly fits it!

not exactly what I thought was an arn but still very good. I remember how they made it so the Yeerks couldn't control them
