I’ve seen artwork like this multiple times and while I am an avid fan of Tassies I can’t really say that I enjoy the monotony of picturesque drawings. The one thing that I often do give credit for is the actual time and anatomy lessons they can provide for beginners in thylacine artwork. The messages that artists often convey with this kind of medium is rather powerful in how their status as an extinct species is depressing and quite melancholy. You did take your own spin on how the source material and expanded upon it and that is quite creative of you.
I enjoyed the lighting effect most of all.
